I like to turn my subsonic filter all the way down, so it sends all the low frequencies to my subs. I never use bass boost and keep my gain low. To help avoid any clipping.

Coty Riddle fortunately, they make laser temperature readers and they are great at measuring temperature. Now to educate you. Magnets are attached to metal plates. These plates hold heat, due to their properties. The coils are made of material that disperses heat. That is done as a design feature, so the coils stay cool and are less likely to have the adhesive failure. So, the magnet will be warm, yet the coil cooler then the magnet.
I understand how they work and the thermal properties. Just saying if they are getting warm you are pushing them too hard. Well unless your trying to push them hard lol
Also the *Laser temperature readers* your referring to are actually Ir thermal guns. The visible laser they use is the same thing in a laser pointer. I have dual 70 inch subs wired to a 12,000 watt amp and sounds good.

If the magnets are lukewarm the coils are a lot hotter. You don't want any warmth from the magnets.

if theyre series, then its 900wp @ 8 ohms, if parallel, nice knowing that lg amp, transistors dont like arcing
