As an orthodox Christian(Eritrean orthodox), I have heard and read lots of Christian fathers(saints) were killed and hated because of their true strong belief in Jesus christ of Natzareth. And now in our time I see a true and strong father tested because of his love to christ.
Jesus already said to us, you will be hated in this world, but you will have eternal life.
Love your enemies, coz love never fails!

Two weeks before he was attacked I found his videos. A week later after listening to him and a few other Christian channels and doing my own research I became a Christian. Then one week later he was attacked and it broke my heart but seeing how he has responded to his attacker has only inspired me to be a better Christian. God bless.

Two young men snatched my phone on Friday night as I was coming from church. I was so hurt and asked myself what I did to deserve it. Today I did not attend evening prayers. But after watching this I wholeheartedly forgive the men who stole my phone. This is Christianity in action.What a wonderful man.

In my own country, the church and the Orthodox Christians have been suffering for the love of Jesus. Thanks to God the Almighty to give as such magnificent bish in such a troubling time to all Christians and the entire world population as Satan is using all earthly power to weaken our love and relationship with Christ. We rest all pains and sufferings on the love of Jesus and the holy cross.

We all atheists till the airplane is in trouble and we might end up dying. That’s when we as humans remember God. Thank you bishop. I (63 years old) listen to you every day. Since I invited the Holy Spirit to take posession of me my life as a sinner is changing more and more for the good. I am calmer and have faith. Baptised a roman catholic as a child I departed on a long journey. Now I feel I am coming home to Jesus Christ. Your sermons often bring me to tears. It's the truth that does that. Your words go deep into my whole being.Thank you so much. I wish you a speedy and full recovery from the attack and pray God will protect you in future.
