  • We are going to learn how to change the Driver Information Center in a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze.
The Driver Information Center or, DIC for short, presents important data to the driver of the car. On the turn stalk, there is a wheel that can be nudged up or down. Nudging the wheel changes the data in the DIC. Under the “Trip” tab, you can select from a digital speedometer, two different trip odometers, fuel range, Navigation from GPS or OnStar, a timer, and fuel used. You can even have nothing displayed if you find the screen distracting. If you press the menu button on the turn stalk, you can change between the “Trip” tab and the “Option” tab. Spin the wheel once again to change the DIC. The selections under the option tab are voltmeter, oil life, tire pressure, and units of measurement.

Can you tell me what the timer is for and what happens when the count down is complete? I work at a rental car company and this car is one that we rent out.
A customer asked me about the timer and I had no idea what it is really for since there was another 5 hours or so still ticking down.
Informative video and at least now I know how to access the menus and how to reset it. Thank you!
