I don't really know how the planeswalker themed cards rotating out would really change the soupy nature of this format so far. I can't not draft a 4 color deck
@@LordsofLimited Yeah, idk, Foundations felt very inconsistent with power levels. A small selection of cards were impactful. Resulting in repetitive plays, monotonous decks with a bunch of filler crap. Games were much about: "Will I draw my good cards or not?"
Caw caw! Nice job. I think I would have played the at least one copy of the celestial archon just to have more to do in the middle game, but great job.
@@LordsofLimitedyou're right, I could have sworn I'd heard that before but I just looked at my logs and there's definitely packs with a gate plus gateway plaza, my bad :P
Confused why you think archangel of thune is one of the best cards in the set but celestial archon is clunky. Without other lifegain, they're both sort of baneslayer angels - great if you untap but still susceptible to removal. I guess you only need archangel to survive one turn with an ok board, but they dont seem that different to me in a typical UW deck

@@SupahGeck yeah maybe it won’t, might be a long 6 weeks…
Haven't played much, but I already know for certain that I like this format a lot more than Foundations. Is that just me? or...
I haven’t played much of either, but I definitely find this more entertaining to watch than foundations
@@Fanga1337 yeah masters set vs core set is not close for me

I actually think foundations is a great core set but yeah probs won't be drafting it much now P masters is here.

@@hallorette5059 yeah maybe that cards slightly better than I gave it credit for
I think zulaport cutthroat is for rakdos decks. I've had wild success with it alongside the thopter makers and pump dwarves
@@brianjones7943 still just seems so tough to play a small synergistic body in this format

Gateway Plaza does indeed take the gate slot.
but how is there gateway plaza and a gate in the same pack sometimes?

I have mixed feelings for UW fliers. It looks unbeatable when ahead, but struggles big time when behind. Great vid demonstrating it’s power.
@@patrickgonzales7825 yeah, feels like it’s maybe even more aggressive than RW in that sense
This was an awesome Boros deck that you just didn't want to draft.

the 4-power lifelink is a huge swing in life, can easily buy you 1-2 turns
