Thanks Roger - I got to use the coaster holder for a gift for my sister/brother-in-law today. I need to tweak it a little to give it some more capacity.
Thanks Roger for another awesome project. I'm new to laser and learning a great deal from your videos. Thank you so much for offering the files that help us get started and learn.
Roger thank you for another great project and files! This is great! I have some hardwoods I want to try so will need to resize. Will be a good exercise for me in LB.
love this holder works great for 4 X 4 tiles. But 4 X 4 slate just way to big can you modify the file to fit slate tiles better .. I'm to new to know how to do it myself in lightburn.. TY
Yes, it can be modified to accommodate larger coasters. I've also had requests to design a deeper one for thicker coasters, or slate that has feet. On my list of an upcoming project.
ty .. cant wait .. slate would be a lil smaller actually. tile are 110 mm and slate is 100 mm. Thanks again. or maybe a video on how to modify the size ourselves.@@rogersshop
@@papakoko4344 If using Lightburn, resizing is easy. Just make sure the padlock is locked or it will skew the graphic.. Slate coasters also tend to have rough edges, so keep the engrave away from the very edge or it won't look right.
I was trying to make the Halloween pumpkin light boxes tonight, but it’s like a cut one piece and then I like it was doing the other part of the design, but it wasn’t. It was like it wasn’t recognizing to cut the rest of the image so what what is going on? What’s the settings, thank you
Are these the pumpkin light boxes from Ricks2cents? If so, you need to ask him as I have not tried his design. For settings, that is going to depend on material, thickness, and laser power.
You make it look so easy so do you cut that just one layer and if so, how do I do that? I did black outlines a group to everything I tried it that way then I’ll try it with the black field with everything and it still just cut a little piece out and it didn’t recognize the whole image so what causes that
Hi Roger. I just downloaded your coaster box files & while the 2mm files opens perfectly in Lightburn, I can't seem to open the 3mm file. Do you know if there's something wrong with the file itself or if I'm doing something wrong (most likely scenario). I'm new to lightburn & still on the free trial.
Hi Roger, I have a Sculpfun S9 and I just can't seem to get my Framing to just frame the design. It always goes out the the Lasing item. Do you Know where I can get hepl with that? Thank You
Unfortunately, it seems the products Dollar Tree carries varies by region, and sometimes even by individual stores. I've watched so many videos of people who have bought things at Dollar Tree that I have been unable to find in any of the numerous Dollar Tree stores in my city.
Email me to roger@moonshinecrafts.com and let me know which files you are wanting and I will send them to you. The site is set up so that we do not accept orders for physical items that would ship outside the USA. I have not found a way to exempt downloadable items. (yet)

Everything must be the same layer (in this case), set to "line".
@@rogersshop oh ok I’m still learning so I’m gonna check my settings today and see if I can’t figure it out. Thank you.
Where can I find the download for project #9. Is it for 3 1/2 " coasters?
moonshinecrafts.com/product/beginning-laser-project-9-files/ Made for 4" coasters.

As a test, I downloaded the package and had no issues opening the 3mm version.
do you have .svg files for these? I have a glowforge
These were designed completely in Lightburn.

What software?
I have GRBL and Light5burn on my Computer. Do I use both?
@@johnjahner3389 You can, but not at the same time. I seldom use Laser GRBL.
@@rogersshop Roger I keep getting error:9 and G-code locked out during jog state and under laser it reads busy 100%

You can also order items from their website and have it delivered to your local store for pickup. No shipping charge this way.
@@rogersshop I was not aware they even had online ordering. Thank you.
Nice video, link for web site giving critical error.
Where are the downloads?
