I recently bought the Fujifilm Tele Conversion Lens TCL-X100 II and in this video I share my thoughts and opinions on this £300 piece of kit. I also took the 50mm lens for a run of street photography in London so see how it really holds up. This is the 50mm Fuji X100v.

Through the years, I learned to be invisible with a 5D (Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3) and a 50mm 1.2 L for street photography (obviously it was too my professional set for portrait photography), so when the first X100 appear on the market, I was surprised by some people comparing it with the Ricoh and complaining about the X100 size. So guess what, even with the TCL converter, it looks small and unobtrusive.
BTW, the pictures after you take off the gopro look much better composed… my theory (may not be true), carrying another camera that you know is recording your video, distracts you from full concentration or to get into the zone.

@@rydinorwin Holiday pictures? Even an Instax or a Polaroid can be used for great holiday captures (plus you get the prints). Before buying a camera I ask myself a few questions: Do I need to print? Do I need larger prints? Do I need the photos only to share in social media? Will people/family who will see my pics can tell the difference between a camera or a cellphone capture? Do I need video? What quality? Does it have to be a Fujifilm? Are there similar products at a competitive cost? What is my budget? There you go, if you have the answers to that, you can choose the right camera.
