Rosh hashana is an extremely important and meaningful Holliday marking the sweet and hopefull new year. (Explaining the honey)
it is the same Arabic name RAS ALsanaa, the begging of the year. this tradition of the horn is family in Sudan, specific in Nuba mountains area where I am personally from. The use of the horn back in a days is just like and alarm, if someone is missing, or someone died.

I’m Jewish and go to a Jewish school and my ex-boyfriend is allergic to apple skin so he either eats apples without skin or eats pears on Rosh Hashana. I find that dipping more savoury fruits into honey is better though because the combination of apple and honey is too sweet in my opinion
