    Hey, Great video! I'm an electronics and communication engineer myself, and I think, no matter the work you do (Engineering, or law)... there is always a balance between personal productivity, team building, social interactions, general productivity. And I really look up to you guys and how you balance all of it! Kudos! :)

    Very interesting insights. From my perspective, it seems like this salary for engineers is pretty low in the UK. In Germany, for example, they start around €60-65k in big companies.

      Thank you! Yep - I think it is probably a little lower than much of the world, at least at the very start of your career, but also better hours 😝

    Thank you for the insight, it was very helpful!! I am very excited about studying aerospace/mechanical engineering in Europe countries and currently comparing the universities. I would love to get a job in the space or aviation sector, but as an international student I am aware that large tech companies might prefer citizens. Could you (or anyone that has relevant information) give some explanation and details if that is really so and how is the field of engineering for international students? I do know that it's huge, competitive, and challenging, but still I don't feel like I am aware enough about the competition and what type of job I might end up doing. If anyone could explain this to me, talk about their experience, university, and what type of work they do.. I would be very grateful!! Thank you in advance ;)

    The reason for this question; Bermuda has time zones, West and East Bermuda ( or the Bermuda Triangle, 😏). Britain set it up this way, I'm still not use to it. and it will take time.

    Do lawyers actually earn more than engineers? There was no mention of how much a lawyer makes as reference to an engineer in the video. I would really like to know.

    • @liam.porritt
      @liam.porritt  2 года назад

      In the UK, generally, yes - work-life balance is likely to be worse than an engineer, but after 3 years, an engineer probably expects to earn £35,000-£60,000 and a lawyer £50,000-£140,000
