I hope you read this. My name is Jake. You have been an inspiration that has kept me alive throughout a 5 year battle after a flesh eating infection destroyed my lower legs.i got when fishing in wisconsin. I am healing but it's still a long hard road. I can kinda walk again. But I have had chronic infections after for the last 5 years. Thank you and some day I hope I get down south and I see you on the water. I have never fished salt water it's always been a dream of mine. Fabulous video Robert. Takes me back to when I was living in Mulegé, BCS, Mexico for 17 years. Mulegé is right at the mouth of Bahia Concepcion and I spent many days fishing for squid, Mahi Mahi, grouper, and yellowtail off San Marcos. My favorite way of cooking squid is to cut the mantle into about 3"x4" rectangles and fry it in garlic butter. Absolutely delicious! Love your Tikka squad also. I own three now that I am back in Idaho. I have a .243, .270, and a 7RM. The 270 has a Zeiss scope. I bought that combo off Gunbrokers for $400! Great family and all grown up... sorta kinda.
I need to sign myself up for a sword fishing class. Grown up here my whole life and living in Jupiter myself and have never done any sword fishing. Definitely a bucket list item for sure. Good job guys.
You put out some good info about your life boat experience and what to do and what not to do. That big squid can be a danger if you are in water with them as they can be very nasty to a swimmer or a diver, as I found out many yr's ago. Rob, you do have a v.h.f. radio onboard I feel...should have called U.S.C.G. with your exact location when you realized the radar wasn't targeting the radar reflector on the raft. They could have been able to predict its near vicinity when notifying other mariners to keep a lookout for it. Anyway, a great video and content...thanks.

Next level video Sir. Started with showing the most important piece of offshore gear, and ended with those 2 giants. 10 years in, content never gets old.
lol I figured you wouldn't last long in the raft if they were fishing. Next time you will have to do this without the support boat fishing and having all the fun. As for the swordfish being muddy we talked about this last time. I believe its the squid sacks breaking and covering the fish with squid ink and goop. Now that you caught a squid AND the swordfish we can see side by side that the same "mud" from the swordfish looks like the squid ink mud from the squid as you clean both together.

Rob, same issue with dairy here. See if you can find Green Valley Lactose Free butter, yogurt, and cheeses, as well as Organic Valley Lactose Free milk. Good stuff, and has a really long shelf life, due to the removal of the lactose sugars.

Hey deer meat, back in 2014 when I was 12, my father had took his own life and right around then was when I struggling I took a lot from you, the way you are with your family, and the ambition to just explore let alone the food aspect was definitely inspiring. I now have goals to go to Alaska in search for halibut, or maybe one day try alligator who knows (live near canada now) just wanna say all and all you don’t know how much good you do with your voice. While other youtube content creators were starting shit and drama across the platform we could all could all count on uncle rob just ready to make us hungry😂😂❤️

@@wicked_rider17yeah if the sim rad worked it would have been fine. Can’t predict the unpredictable
@@Questionabletesticle He complained on how he has had many issues out of the sim rad prior to this event, meaning the sim rad not working was very predictable. Rob inflated the raft in a non emergency situation for entertainment purposes and should of took responsibility. If it had been daytime or if he had tied the raft to the boat it would've likely not been lost. This was carelessness on Robs part.

Ever tried smoking the sword fish just throw your best seasoning on there make a simple marinade sauce and soak it 24 hrs throw it in a smoker that’s how we do it in Hawaii 🤙🏾🤙🏾
