Nicely done! I just ordered my 1st FF... the FFJA. Looking forward to my 1st Jazzmaster style guitar....and I'm going to try for a semi baritone conversion with a little heavier strings AND to be using that trem system as well. THX!
About a month back, I ordered a Pegasus late on a Thursday night from Guitar Garden. I immediately received an order number and message stating that I would be notified as soon as the guitar was shipped. That message came the following Monday evening, and the guitar was at my door Friday afternoon. It has the beautiful brown spalted maple finish which sold out two days after I ordered mine. The guitar arrived in perfect condition packaged in a boxed Pegasus shaped styrofoam casket. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase.
If you're at all interested I'd definitely strike when they have the item you want, the brown spalted maple Pegasus that I bought only lasted a day or two on the site before being sold out and taken down. They're definitely popular!
They haven't got these back in stock since they sold out of the first run. They sold through them really quick which makes me curious why they haven't been restocked, I wonder if they got a cease and desist from Languedoc? I am so happy I got mine when I did, it's everything I've wanted in a hollowbody and I didn't have to sell any organs on the black market to afford one either.
Great review and video of the guitar apart! Excellent! But, I want to get some scissors and cut a few inches of that go-tee. A bit distracting. Sorry, said with love....
Mine got delivered just this morning, I let it adjust to the humidity in the house while I was at work and after spending a few hours with it I have to say I'm very impressed. I got the brown spalted maple (already sold out!) and it looks as gorgeous as it sounds. I understand completely your criticism about the binding edges being on the sharp side, I plan on taking some strategic wet sand paper to it soon. Overall it's the best guitar for this kind of money (not including preowned) that I've ever bought, I could not be happier with my purchase. Now, all of that being said, I will say this: I enjoy tinkering with guitars and making adjustments. So when it took two hours for a proper set up on a floating bridge to get a proper straight neck without any buzz it didn't bother me as much as I think it would, say, someone who has no knowledge or interest in working on instruments. You get what you're paying for here, but that also seems to include the maintenance, be aware. It's the Languedoc G2 I always wanted and could never afford. I'm going to install some GFS pickups with coil tap switches and 500k pots, it's going to be a very versatile animal.. I can see it taking my Fujigen Gakki Statocaster's position as go-to instrument, especially with the upgrades. Upgrades I happen to have money for since the guitar was so cheap, haha.
Mines en route… think I got the last one lol… I don’t mind tinkering either, but I’ll be my first time. In fact, that part of the reason I bought it so it could be a “project”. All that said- would you mind sharing links to the pickups and lots etc you are upgrading to? Thanks in advance

I ordered my Firefly Pegasus on Monday and received it on Thursday. That's a 4 day shipping time. Never got a guitar that quick before ordered through the internet. The frets ends are cut at different lengths in relation to the edge of the dark fretboard wood. I don't think I've ever seen that before on a guitar. The fret ends are smooth however. The set up on this guitar is horrendous. The guitar looks like it needs a truss rod adjustment and a raise in the bridge height. It seems with most guitars ordered online nowadays the sellers will make some effort to make it playable when you receive the guitar but no such luck here. The six neck tuners feel real cheap when you turn them. The finish of the maple spalted top is A grade, looks real nice. I can't find any blemishes or flaws with the binding. I also can't find any blemishes or visual imperfections on the guitars body.
It did not take long to do a set up on the Pegasus guitar, maybe 15 minutes. I adjusted the truss rod to make the neck straight and adjusted the bridge to bring the string height up a bit. The guitar plays well with no fret buzz. It looks like an exotic, expensive guitar with that cool spalted maple top. This guitar is definitely worth the cash and was a good addition to the other 39 guitars in my collection.
The tuners on my Firefly guitars are excellent and the cream of the crop compared to the average tuners on cheap guitars (which are all pretty good nowadays). The tuners are very beefy heavy tuners. I really haven't seen any bad tuners on guitars since they quit using those tuners with the trapezoid cases that were used on Squiers and other cheap brands years ago. Those totally sucked!
Thanx for the info bro
