    Love your videos mate! Very useful!
    How do you find is the best way to create models for digging footings or drainage runs? I'm currently having to create road lines for each line which is abit tedious in iCon Office..
    Thanks

      Hi Jake, glad your finding them useful..👍 We will be adding more so keep an eye out in the near future, also any suggestions would be great.. To answer your question, I suppose it depends on the size of the drawing and how much line work you have. If there's not much line work it makes sense to just create road lines as your doing as this will give you height and position to line, but if its quite big this is what i would do. Assuming you have a 3D .dxf of the job you could create a .trm of the complete drawing, which will give you your heights on the iCON3D MC system, use the original .dxf as a help model on iCON3D to show you line work and also export a .geo from iCON office of the original .dxf which will allow you to select any line for position on iCON3D.. Let me know if you need any more help, i have a video up on how to select .geo as guidelines.. Thanks Jake

      @@LevellingEquipmentServicesLtd Thanks for the reply! It's good to see someone else who is into the world of MC!
      I think that's a good way of doing things, I'm definitely going to try and look into .geo files for line selection..I'll take a look at your video again too about linework. It would be extremely handy if I could get the iCon simulator working on my laptop.. apparently it doesn't like some windows 10 systems. I'm guessing your running your simulator on Virtual box? If you are, how are you able to sync usb data into it? With the MC1 simulator I can drag and drop into a folder which loads it up fine, but with iCON simulator being a .ova file I'm struggling to bring in my own data to do trials with.
      Thanks again for the reply, much appreciated
      Jake

      Ah okay I spoke to soon. I have just installed another .ova simulator for iCon and I seem to be up and running now! Finally.. again when I go to USB sync, it says no usb drive found. Now I'm assuming it has something to do with it being a virtual machine so do I have to drag and drop into a folder like on MC1 or can I sync directly in the USB Sync option?

      Ok, I managed to add the virtual USB drive and can now sync!
      For anyone like me who is new to this, I added it by going to in VirtualBox;
      Machine>Settings>USB>Top little usb icon (blue) on the right hand side>Sorted
      *I did this with my data stick in the laptop*
      Thanks
