    Hearing these stories is traumatizing, I’m with the victims. Telling someone their wheelchair is luggage is the same as talking someone’s legs and independence. Also, how can you only have 2 disabled sections? That’s pure discrimination, assuming disabled people don’t travel (well now we know it’s because of the airports/airlines).
    How does Australian think anyone with a disability would travel to their country if they “accessibility” is dehumanising

    I'm literally in this position now. Like Jan I can walk short distances hanging on. I bought a foldable scooter. I'm about to take my first flight and im literally looking at one way car rental instead. Due to a spinal injury, I can't really sit or stand for long so the car trip isn't much fun either.
