It’s good that you are doing this too because doing the hitboxes on client would be highly exploitable (probably, I’m pretty new to coding). Great work, and I’m excited to see where this game goes! :D
While yes it WAS able to be easily exploited, 99.9% of injectors are deprecated (they don't work)

using trig and distance functions to check player vicinity would be even more efficient than using touched event and hitboxes

@@LeehamsonTheThird I just meant that why didnt you make the input client sided and the hit detection server sided? All battleground games ( At least most of them ) do it that way and thats why they feel so good. Also this isnt a hate comment or anything. I'm just trying to provide building criticism to hopefully make you game better. I mean I hope so.

@@LeehamsonTheThird You missunderstand. Ok. Let me say why do I think that the input is server sided. When I hold punch to hit 3 it hits a fourth one because of ping. This is an example. Tho I do have like 100 ping so... And if I do the same thing in the strongest it only hits 3 times. Also the hit detection IS server sided in the strongest but the input detection is client sided. The difference is huge. Remember I'M NOT hating on you. ( Also I love your videos )
@@MurdexStudio the reason it's like this is because there will be a delay between punches if you send multiple hit packets

Do you really not have a social security number or drivers license or something like that? Even a school ID (if you go/went to public school) or a learner's permit would work... 🙃
Amazing video though, gives me inspiration to keep working on my own videogame (which is just an undertale fangame lol, but still)
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention as well, MAKE A SCRIPT FOR THE GITHUB CHANGES. It's honestly not that hard, make a script that detects when a change to the repository is confirmed from any device (you can also give your school account edit perms to it), and have that script publish your game/commit the update. Or just use a virtual machine (several free online ones for linux servers in specific; which you run roblox on through vinegar, though you may be limited).

Hey I'd like to share some ideas for the game you could put a move called multiple hits. What it would do is it'd be a dash forward and then like I said multiple hits with smacking them with a chainsaw. Another could be one that you grab them off the ground like pick them up by the head and put a chainsaw through them and have knocback too.
