I just bought a new cat over 1k i just need the MIL to clear AND EGR,HCAT,HRT and AIR to turn Green any advice? I have fixed the 2 codes i prevously had still have a PDTc AND 2 prevous DTC that i took my car to the shop for one was the p0420 AND the other p0741 any advice? TIA did my first repair not adress the actual problem?

You may have to worry about the evap as it’s exempt in most states including California excluding Oregon. With that said make you have no pending codes. Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t get notified. As to your question if you excessive blow by it could help but you really have to be careful. This will depend on the age of your vehicle and other factors. My dodge takes 5w-20 and I changed to 5w-30, I live in Texas so it doesn’t get cold but it can get hot.

Working on 2000 chev. Express w V6 having a real hard time getting it to complete catalyst. Just replaced downstream o2 still not cooperating.. any help would be greatly appreciated

I use 5w20 motor oil will putting a heavier motor oil in help pass emissions test

What about an abs traction sensor with that effect the catalyst mon?

Not sure what you mean. The evap is exempt as far I know even in California except for Oregon
