Hi Bernadette, yes, the circular embroidery attachment is compatible with your BERNINA aurora 440 QE! Please refer to our accessory catalog for compatibility information on all our accessories: www.bernina.com/en-US/Support-US/Product-Catalogs
My everyday sewer is my Mother-in-law's vintage 932 Record and I am learning it project by project. Is this attachment compatible with my machine? Thanks you!
Hi Elaine, thanks for asking. Unfortunately, the circular embroidery attachment is not compatible with a 932 record. For compatibility information on all our accessories you can refer to our accessory catalog: www.bernina.com/en-US/Support-US/Product-Catalogs As you can see on page 2 of the PDF, the 932 belongs to category A. The cicurlar embroidery attachment is compatible with categories B-F, i.e. with newer sewing machine types only.
Dear Maria, thanks for asking. No, unfortunately this is not possible. The BERNINA circular embroidery tool is not compatible with bernette models. Kind regards from Switzerland
Dear Bev, yes the circular embroidery attachment can be used on a BERNINA artista 630. For full compatibility information on all our accessories please see the accessory catalog at www.bernina.com/en-US/Support-US/Product-Catalogs. The artista 630 belongs to the category B3 (see page 2 of the catalog). The circular embroidery attachment is compatible with categories B, C, D etc. (see page 41 of catalog). Kind regards from Switzerland
Dear Nancy, you can certainly use the BERNINA Circular Embroidery Attachment to sew circles on a quilt. Embroidery Foot #20, however, is not a quilting foot. It is ideal for precise sewing of decorative stitches. These are the feet we recommend for quilting: www.bernina.com/en-US/Accessories-US/Presser-Feet/Quilting
@@BerninaInternational Thank you so much! I have the BSR foot and use it sort of freestyle. Are you say it can be used with the circular foot? Also, which foot would you recommend I buy of the others? I do have 48 also, but you did not list that one. I am not averse to buying another foot as I have been building a collection and love them all! Thanks in advance!
@@ndorinsky Hi Nancy, when using the Circular Embroidery Attachment, sewing is not done freehand. In fact, the opposite is true: The aim is to sew a straight line (which becomes a circle through the use of the Cicular Embroidery Attachment) as precisely as possible. Therefore, the BERNINA Stitch Regulator is not the right foot for this purpose. We recommend using Embroidery Foot #20, as shown in the video. To our knowledge, there is no BERNINA foot #48. Perhaps you meant foot 44, which is very good choice for echo quilting! If you want to try new quilting techniques, maybe Rulerwork would be something for you? Then we recommend the Height-adjustable Ruler Foot 72. The best thing to do is to contact your BERNINA dealer. He will be happy to help you with tips and recommendations.
Hi there, thanks for your comment. To achieve a perfect circle with completed stitch patterns, the fabric feed is manually supported or slowed down just before the end of the circle (by gently pushing or pulling).
Except that you can't get up close to the needle with that method! It is good for much larger circles than what the #83 can offer (1 to 5-5/16 inches, 2.5 to 13.5 cm), but you'd be stuck for smaller circles.
Very nice work. Will definitely dive into Bernina's world from now.
I would love to have this. Going on my wish list today!
can you display & give as much information possible on the Bernina 590CE, because I am going to buy it soon, please?

After watching, I still don't understand how one gets the end of stitching to finish with a completed motif rather than a partial.
