I bought mine last November directly from Xiaomi France . Less than 300€ for the 6GB/128GB black back version. I've have often a decent camera in my backpack so taking photos with my phone is not my primary concern . But with the less assisted mode or with Gcam, the result is not so bad . It's crazy smooth, very reactive and the display with few colorimetry adjustments is beautiful and accurate . Battery life is really good for my use and the 33W charge is very useful as i can plug my phone for a few minutes to recover a good amount of electrons juice in the battery . The silicon case provided in the package is good as is the screen protector film too. I like the fingerprint on the power button . It's very accurate and reactive. With the phone in the right or left hand, the finger find it easilly . It's the best place for a fingerprint scanner Imo. For me, it's the best bang for bucks, I've no regret to bought it .

Hey Linus been following you for many years. As always like your content, I have the Poco X3 since early last year. Do you think I should have a look at the F3/or you'd recommend something else? PS. Keep up the good work 🙂
Hey man! Thanks for the long-term support! Poco X3 is still a great phone (keep using it if it still works great) but I would pick the F3 for the better display alone: Amoled, 1300 nits of brightness. Also, the chipset is a little bit faster. Overall, I still recommend the F3 as one of the best phones for the price!
the battery life is not even close to what you said... It`s barely one day phone, barely... It makes up to it because of it`s fast charging ability. the rest is accurate and I am enjoying mine a whole lot
Would someone please tell me why this GSM phone will not work with Tracfone? I did lots of research, bought this phone and paid for expedited delivery since Tracfone was cutting service to my existing phone because it is not voLTE-capable. Before opening the box, I contacted Tracfone with the IMEI number off the Poco F3 box....was shocked when the guy said it would not work on TF.
planning to replace my jurrasic era samsung s6, been window shopping online, then i saw this redmi k40 5g/ poco f3. come feb1, i will get this unless i saw a better alternative
additional info ive tried different chargers, but it is only when i use the 33w fast itcharger that the device heat up even if i turn off while charging. it is alarming for me because the heat is much higher compares when i am gaming. so i tried other regular, non fast charger and there is no heating at all. i have no idea, but i think the battery will degrade over time more faster if it heats up during charging. what do you guys think? do you also experience heating issues while using fast charger on your f3?
@tyrone It's not a big deal, but can be annoying sometimes when the screen goes dark when on a call, especially when you want to do something else with the phone. All in all is a great phone, just waiting for the MIUI 13 update.
Just I returned this device due to simply option not available (when phone rang it's not showing thru which sim 1 or 2 call came, second thing from recent call log we not able to see number for saved contact (this is important when we want to call if some contact have more than one number)
I have a question. Does the POCO F3 looks slightly grainy in dark environment with brightness put to 0 on a grey background (like in dark mode of playstore/chrome incognito mode)? Mine looks slightly grainy in the condition described above
Hello, I'm Looking for a phone primary for MOBA gaming around 500 USD. Are there better options than the Poco f3, the redmagic 5s or 6 is around my budget but is the performance and temperature coolness too different from the cheaper f3?
i wanted to buy this phone but i've heard some issues like the proximity sensor while calling and the green tint on the screen when you set your screen brightness low enough when youre in the dark, are the issues present on your device?
If i could get an answer, it would be great. F3, 11t(i think is the best of this three) or realme neo 2, all at the same price, which to get?!🤔🙂 Thank you!
SD card does not always provide good experience. For instance, I used it with my Galaxy S10+ before pandemic when I was traveling in Thailand. It got corrupted, I lost the photos. It has never happened with the internal storage on any phone for me. As for the F3 vs X3 Pro, the key advantage is a much better display: Amoled, 1300 nits of brightness. Also, the chipset is a little bit faster.
@@TechLineHD thanks for the reply & the tips. You are of course right - if the SD card is corrupted than the data is lost. The thing is that I need the extra memory - well I believe that 512GB would be enough but if the phone has "just" 256 or less I need a SD card. Thanks - I'll keep that in mind. Since my phone is still working fine (more or less ^^) I believe I'll wait for the F4 :-)
I am also using this phone, this phone is awesome but we want more light and smooth UI like Oxygen OS of oneplus... Xiaomi should avoid bloatwares and ads...
Bought mine, used it for a month and shot it in the cupboard where its been ever since, when people tell you that a camera on a phone is POOR.....Believe them!!
i would argue that Xiaomi 11T (non pro) is the better option.. its only slightly more expensive, but it has metal frame, with gg victus.. louder and crisper speakers, faster charger bigger batteries and IMO the camera results looks better for me.. go to a mi store and check both side by side.. I did, I decided to go with 11t plus they promised 3 android updates and 4 years security patch for 11T..
F3 user here for a month and the dimming issue has already been fixed since the MIUI Global 12.5.5 release (I might be wrong on the exact version update). If the device you bought experiences dimming issues, it's probably because your MIUI version is not up-to-date. Just update your MIUI version to the latest update and you're good to go. Other than that, I have not yet experienced other issues except for the greentint issue.
Hey, I'm trying to replace my Galaxy S10 with a mid-ranger/budget phone. Between the Poco F3, Mi 11 Lite 5G NE and realme GT Neo 2, which one of these could actually replace the S10? Thanks!

Hey! You need to rule out of the Mi 11 Lite 5G NE because of inferior chip and display. Choose the F3 if you like MIUI. Choose the Realme GT Neo2 if you like their UI and you want a great (similar to F3) device overall. Also, it has better cameras. However, it's more expensive than the F3. Overall, I would pick the F3 because it's usually much cheaper now. Check out my GT Neo2 video: ruclips.net/video/L_m39nxGgTQ/видео.html
I think you should consider A52s ...the most perfect midrange phone in 2021..this phone also much perfect than any midrange, budget smartphone(including poco f3,mi11 lite 5g ne,realme gt neo2 and many more)

Yes, in the real world, 6hr Sot over 24hr is the truth. Most of us do not play YT videos on loop and even my lowest setting for brightness is over 50%, more likely 70% during the day. When you add 5G usage, 6hrs is a push for many phones I have tried. For instance my Pixel 6 Pro on 5G doing nothing (standby) loses 4% per hour, so in 24hrs not using the phone it will empty. Quoting YT streaming on loop is not a good measure and I hope YT addresses this with more sensible daily patterns as it can be misleading.
@@TechLineHD i terms of performance yes. But overall galaxy offers a little bit more as it guaranteed two additional OS upgrades and four years of security support. A52s has expandable storage and better camera with OIS.
@@DariuszTech If you care about the expandable storage and camera maybe yes. Personally I take the sd870 over that any day. Also 256gb is more then enough.
Hey! The F3 for sure: it has a better Amoled display, which is much brighter (1300 nits vs 450). That's super important for outdoor use. Further, the F3 uses an Snapdragon chip which is still more reliable and efficient than Mediatek. Lastly, the F3 is a bit cheaper (depending on the region ofc). Hope that helps. Thank you for watching and your support!

the battery life is not even close to what you said...
Before opening the box, I contacted Tracfone with the IMEI number off the Poco F3 box....was shocked when the guy said it would not work on TF.
planning to replace my jurrasic era samsung s6, been window shopping online, then i saw this redmi k40 5g/ poco f3. come feb1, i will get this unless i saw a better alternative
additional info
ive tried different chargers, but it is only when i use the 33w fast itcharger that the device heat up even if i turn off while charging. it is alarming for me because the heat is much higher compares when i am gaming.
so i tried other regular, non fast charger and there is no heating at all. i have no idea, but i think the battery will degrade over time more faster if it heats up during charging.
what do you guys think? do you also experience heating issues while using fast charger on your f3?
I am using Poco F3 great device love 💕😘
Hello can i request for a comparison video of poco f3 and realme gt neo 2 please
My only issue is the omission of the proximity sensor, especially when making and receiving calls.
It can be really annoying sometimes.
@tyrone It's not a big deal, but can be annoying sometimes when the screen goes dark when on a call, especially when you want to do something else with the phone. All in all is a great phone, just waiting for the MIUI 13 update.
F3 is great option if upcoming F4 would be minimal upgrade and if price would be higher. There is no budget chip succesor for snapdragon 870
Do you face any green tint and black volour crush issues in Poco F3? Even it is E4 amoled rated A+ by displaymate, almost all the Mi 11x have that
Wow what a cinematography ✨✨ luv your way of presentation man... 👌👌
Just I returned this device due to simply option not available (when phone rang it's not showing thru which sim 1 or 2 call came, second thing from recent call log we not able to see number for saved contact (this is important when we want to call if some contact have more than one number)
Why video at 1080p 60FPS autofocus works often so it shakes the image and spoils the video? That is my big complaint and proximity sensor.
Brother how about the battery performance for normal uses?
It's around 6-7 hours (about 70% brightness). SOT times are always subjective. P.S. I don't play games on phones
i wanted to buy this phone but i've heard some issues like the proximity sensor while calling and the green tint on the screen when you set your screen brightness low enough when youre in the dark, are the issues present on your device?
the frame is metallic,I received the confirmation by the custmoer care POCO :)
still an awesome mid ranger with great performance and display!
Thanks for the Feedback, Vishal!
If i could get an answer, it would be great.
F3, 11t(i think is the best of this three) or realme neo 2, all at the same price, which to get?!🤔🙂
Thank you!
Just bought one for £183, as my one plus 8 pro screens cracked and it was £180 to replace, hopefully it's a good buy
Where?
I still use the F1... a bit bummed that there isn't a SD card slot anymore.
Do you know how the F3 does compared to the X3 Pro (which has an SD slot)?
@@Raymaster7482 Yeah you should wait a little to see what Xiaomi/Poco has to show us this year. I hope to review most of their phones :)
@@TechLineHD sweet!
I heard about the dimming issues, is it true? How severe it is?
Nice budget phone, great review as always.👍
Thanks! 👍
I am also using this phone, this phone is awesome but we want more light and smooth UI like Oxygen OS of oneplus...
Xiaomi should avoid bloatwares and ads...
I'm plannning to buy this phone tommorow can you give some tips before i buy it
when it will be updated to MIUI 13
Buying a 2nd one when in sale, this phone is a beast.
I'm looking for a new phone. Poco f3, MI 11 lite or sth else on that price. Pls help
Using one... The best I've used in a long long time
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Awesome review keep it up as always linus bro
thanks as always, Usman!
Bought mine, used it for a month and shot it in the cupboard where its been ever since, when people tell you that a camera on a phone is POOR.....Believe them!!
Poco f3 is the beast really worth of money I had enjoyed games music battery everything good I am using 2022 still beast than other phones.
Is this phone's refresh rate adaptive?
Been using my poco f3 since oct22, all i can sa is well done Xiaomi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
i would argue that Xiaomi 11T (non pro) is the better option..
its only slightly more expensive, but it has metal frame, with gg victus..
louder and crisper speakers, faster charger bigger batteries and IMO the camera results looks better for me..
go to a mi store and check both side by side.. I did, I decided to go with 11t
plus they promised 3 android updates and 4 years security patch for 11T..
Is glass on back ?
Could this be a Lithuanian beach in those sample photos?
Hello techline. I've been planning to buy this phone but im still a little bit concerned about the dimming issue. Has it been fixed already?
F3 user here for a month and the dimming issue has already been fixed since the MIUI Global 12.5.5 release (I might be wrong on the exact version update). If the device you bought experiences dimming issues, it's probably because your MIUI version is not up-to-date. Just update your MIUI version to the latest update and you're good to go. Other than that, I have not yet experienced other issues except for the greentint issue.
Hi are u planning to sell your poco f3? I want to buy brand new but it quite expensive 😌
Hey, I'm trying to replace my Galaxy S10 with a mid-ranger/budget phone.
Between the Poco F3, Mi 11 Lite 5G NE and realme GT Neo 2, which one of these could actually replace the S10? Thanks!
i did.this switch 2 months ago.i.was with s10 plus and before that s9 s7 edge note 5 always a samsung lover but after the switch with poco your gone love a lot.of.things battery the chipset fast charging the skin wich is kind of.stock but the things that.you.gone miss from s10.is.that camera and the software because lets face it samsung software is better than miui but the skin of samsung sucks thays why i.did the change but.overwall.yeah a nice pick deffenitly recomend to do the switch with poco if you intereseted more into the camera than realme gt neo.2 would be perfect because has better cameras than f3.
Just switch your battery out.
I think you should consider A52s ...the most perfect midrange phone in 2021..this phone also much perfect than any midrange, budget smartphone(including poco f3,mi11 lite 5g ne,realme gt neo2 and many more)
Samsung a52s 5g
I like f3 so much because of amoled display but me choosed x3 pro because of sd card and headphone jack
Isn't F4 coming out soon?
I'm not multi task user and I don't care for storage is the 6/128 enough?
Techline is a lineman for the county. And he drives the main road.
So is poco f3 a flagship phone or just a midranger?
Well said 🙏

How does it compare against OnePlus 9R?
Is Poco f3 pro coming this year or I buy this f3 ? Pls answer
great review
Does Google pay work on this?
MIUI on Poco now was so bad 😞
Watching using my poco f3.. this phone is great 👍👍👍
@tyrone so far i Don't experience such bugs or malfunction
Great video presentation
Thank you kindly!
I want that phone 📱 so bad but unfortunately we don't have Poco f3 in Cambodia 😢😢
2 day battery on 120hz on 4500mah can't be possible bro..
The max I get is 6hrs.
Battery life is always subjective!
Same here. 5 or 6 hours when gaming and social media. Longest SOT I got was 9 hours (no gaming, on wifi, social media/browsing only)
I loose 10% every hour of SOT doing all kind of stuff. It sure is a 2 day phone for me.
@@TechLineHD still, practically as well 2 days ain't possible untill u are super light user
Watching from my F3 ✊
Now its Xiaomi 12 the new Beast !
I thought Poco f3 was the best mid range device until galaxy A52S dropped their prices.
Haha f3 👑
I would take the SD 870 over SD 778G any day, so my pick is F3
@@TechLineHD i terms of performance yes. But overall galaxy offers a little bit more as it guaranteed two additional OS upgrades and four years of security support. A52s has expandable storage and better camera with OIS.
@@DariuszTech If you care about the expandable storage and camera maybe yes. Personally I take the sd870 over that any day. Also 256gb is more then enough.
@@svenvanderzwaag1012 actually there are alot aspects that A52s is much better than poco f3...so yes .A52s is better overall..
Which one do you prefer for me? Poco X3 GT or Poco F3 for all rounder? Thank you Linus God bless you 🙏
@@TechLineHD But in my country, the Poco F3 a bit expensive than Poco X3 GT.
Anyone know where I can eat a battery replacement that’s original? That’s my only gripe with this phone. Always the same shit with phones. Crappy third party batteries. Da my find original.
If only it had a headphone jack and SD card support. Such a shame.
I will wait poco f4 It's the winning deal
It will probably disappoint look what they did with the note 11 series
My poco f3 can last only 5 and a half hours a day if I am on it constantly Can I do something to Extend the battery
Weird but I put my phone on performance mode and it drains slower. U can try to turn off search for printers, clean cache regularly to boost phone. Turn on dark mode, turn off always on display or switch to 60 Herz (personally I keep it on because I prefer performance. Make sure you're up to date on software updates, personally I do not have battery drain on my model
@@FCJEY tnx it helps now its much easier
@@marinkobac3186 no problem
@@FCJEY hello, are you still using Poco F3 now? Do you have any issues with the unit? Which variant (128 or 256 GB) and color did you get? Planning to get this as my secondary phone. I really like the black color but hated how glossy it is.
@@1DERLEI 128, artic white. All problems been fixed through software updates such as the random reboot, dimming, battery drain. I'm on the global version of miui the phone is now better than when I first bought it. Gcam optimisation has improved too. There are many gcams and xmls to use with Poco f3 that are stable. Plus I'm waiting for miui 13 hopefully the software becomes more optimised
Best Phone in 2022. I have it .
What is the price of poco f3 now please answer? 😞
Check the product link?
@@TechLineHD ok thanks
I'm planning to buy Poco F3 this month and saw it on sale for $250.
Is it still worth it? Is it still the best value phone even in 2022? Or do you recommend anything better in this price range?
Thanks!
i don't have poco f3 but i heard that it has dimming issue it forces you to lower your brightness and that's all the complain i heard about
I have mi10t pro before . Miui is shit deadboot king xiaomi
180$
if it just wasnt for the crappy proximity sensor. 5 cents saved are 5 cents saved i guess.
Poco f3 vs s20 fe
screen colors are exaggerated and not realistic as Samsung's 😏
(F3 user)
It's unfair that this phone costs about 500 dollars in my country :/
buy it from other country
still poco f3 best value for money!! No one can beat!
Is it still worth it or should i go to F4?
I bought it six months ago
