As someone who doesn't play as much as I'd like/ should growing up with the piano, these videos always motivate me to practice and be as good as I can so I can play more beautiful arrangements of the pieces I enjoy such as this

I'm not a pianist so idk what to call them, but you hit those plinks plinks so well. Those parts where you almost play 2 notes at once, but you play one just a little earlier

She used this for a beautiful speech about the bond between humans and dogs, and I just had to find the original pianist to pay my deepest respects. I've always thought National Park was hard to arrange for solo piano since there's a lot going on, but your arrangement is very clean! I know that getting to your level of control of dynamics would be a difficult and time-consuming task on any instrument, but I'm learning on a keytar with the lightest keys ever installed on any keyboard and I *cannot* even imagine playing with the range you do 😅 Quite a delicate touch you've developed

I got reminded of this theme like 5 mins ago and realized i had never heard it on a real life piano so i did a quick search of a cover and damn i cried listening to this. your dynamic contrast and phrasing is phenomenal and even without the strings this cover still gives me the same nostalgic feeling as the original 😭

Love your pokemon covers! Say, I have a question: I notice you use a roland A-88 keyboard controller from your channel’s “about” section… and the VSTs you use are quite beautiful. I don’t think I’ve found another artist with as common of interests in both regards. However, if I were in the market for a digital piano that wasn’t a controller-type, what would you recommend? Do you use any other digital pianos when you’re not making videos? Do you like Roland, or maybe Kawai? Something else I’ve noticed is that your hands seem to effortlessly glide across the keyboard. If that’s because of a lighter key action (something I hear a lot from Kawai models) then I’d be interested in that because my hands are about the same size as yours.

One thing i do not understand about all covers is that they omit the high pitched part during the B section. You put it in (oh god thank you) but it a much lower register. I want to take your cover and just add that little part. My criticism is only a testament to how much I higly value your transcription!!! and the fact that it is available for free! already started playing on my keyboards UwU
Omg I have just re-read this comment and I had totally forgot about it! Have you tried taking leaps to reach a higher register for this part? I am nowhere near your level of solo-piano arrangement mastery (I mean, my previous detail was not even scratching the surface of everything you did! You were nice enough to like my comment but I do believe you did something better than everyone else, all those ''emulations'' of orchestral sounds. As a student of Charles-Valentin Alkan, I consider all succesfull attempts at reducing multiple instruments to a single amazing) but when i did take that leap while sight-reading the sheet and the effect was really nice But it needs someone with your brain to arrange it. Then, you would have, in my opinion, the first real definitive transcription of National Park. If you look for another similar piece that no one has ever to in a good way on piano, take Astral Observatory. There are three distinct voices that need to played : the harpsichord, the choir and the piano. All three together on a piano....
Gonna take my chances and request Sora wa Miteiruyo from Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card 🙈 I’ve never seen a piano cover done by anyone and yours would be just too godlike👌🏻
