I HAD to come back and comment. I watched this at some point within the last week. I use the shingle method but still wasn't happy with the level of curl definition I achieved in the back. Your "shake method" is no doubt a must do. Not only did I get nicely separated curls, but they appeared fluffy. I didn't use the same products, only because I have tons of product already, but your method is genius. Thanks. It was truly helpful.

I'm going on 3 months since my freedom chop and my length is about the same as yours. This has got to be the best wash and go video I've seen for me. Very informative. Thank you for taking the time.

This is by far the BEST wash & go video I've seen so far. I also use this product a lot & never could get a great wash n go down for one and with using this product. I've been trying to figure out how to define curls without always using the Eco styler (I struggle with that also) I will be trying this soon! This was a big help!!

I used the Cantu Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque after Co-washing my hair. My hair was SO SO happy to have all that wonderful MOISTURE in it (I had been BEGGING for a deep conditioner from the girl who did two unsuccessful treatments on my hair). I rinsed this and used the Cantu leave-in conditioner before setting my hair. It is wavy and GORGEOUS...I will be saving LOTS of money in the future! ♥ Kisses to my Grandma in Heaven who used to oil my hair DAILY...she told my Mom "this baby needs OIL in her hair..." Grandma ain't NEVA been wrong! ♥

U can use a denman brush for more curl definition. I use one for my flat twist out n the brush makes my curls POP!!! Now that I'm growing out my undercut into a tapered cut I really want to try wash n gos, but I never liked them. Ur vids r giving me hope. I'll try it this spring.

I want to cut my hair but everyone keeps telling me not to. I also considered the thought of regular trim-ups, are you getting shaped up regularly? Like the thought of less to work with but now I'm on a fixed income - nothing like receiving 2 pay checks a month. Thanks for the info.

I needed this video! I did the big chop and my hair is already growing back out. I think out curl pattern is similar and, dare I say, your method may just work for me. I'm at that stage where I'm looking for the products that will work for me and I like your tip about working it in really well. So, many times, I'm running and don't really take the time my hair needs to do it's thing. Thanks so much for posting. I know this is an old one, I hope you're still posting stuff, I'll subscribe if you are.

What is 4a, b, c, hair..what do those terms mean. Also my hair was down my back. I started cutting out the perm after not having one for a year. As I cut the inches I realized it was longer and more perm left than I thought. I have cut over 10 inches. The top still has about 2-3inches left. I am 45 and now scared of what to do next. Never ever had short hair. All I can afford right now and have is the Aragon oil, jar of 100% natural Shea butter, 100% black soap. I wash and condition with suave natural Shea butter . please help. Your hair rocks.
