Are you for real? He's done that his whole career. Does it more in his press conference a couple days before the game. But sometimes does it post game.
He's actually been surprisingly calm despite copping it from all angles. Think we need a change still as his messaging can be a bit confusing at times

Watched this game. Kane Cornes has been correct all along in saying this team is stacked. What a waste of a talented list. I mean seriously, their 2nd and 3rd efforts for a talented group are so pathetic. Apart from the Bont and a few others they seriously need to sort themselves out.

I’ve been very critical of the Dogs, but I didn’t think they were terrible. They got outclassed. They weren’t clean with the ball and look like they need a rest.

Bevo is a nice guy, but hi's game plan is lame, guarding empty space when the opposition has control of the ball. His learning disorder will eventually be his demise. The proud never learn. And pride always precedes a fall.
Bevo says there's an “AFL charter”, but there’s also an AFL rule book, which says even if there’s no prior opportunity, you still need to make a genuine attempt to dispose of the ball if you are able to. You cant just hold or lie on the ball and hope to get a stoppage.
When the opppsition has control of the ball, you man up, forcing them to kick to a contest. Bevo has his team do the opposite: half the team wanders off, letting the opposition transition the ball from one end to the other. As long as this insanity is continued, the doggies will continue to struggle. Guarding empty space when Brisbane had possession of the ball was stupid.
A lesser problem but still a major one is the insanity of placing rookies in the midfield. Harvey Gallagher against Nick Daicos!!! Bevo clearly has a self-defeating persnality trait. Until the WB get a better coach, they will depend on flukes to make the eight.

If the WB played without a coach, they would do much better. It is hard to be competetive when following a lame game plan. A good coach puts his best players in the midfield. Bevo put Gallager and Sanders in the center, two rookies that are not even good at VFL level.
