I think the reason why sort of unintuitive words like brute and metro have so many guaranteed follow ups is because of the fact that they use relatively uncommon letters and their placings which implies that there will be lesser amount of words with those letter combinations and their sequence in the word. Id like to know your take on this
@@Pokecheeese i believe so as well, however the disadvantage to these words is that their letters are less likely to appear in the actual words....it seems to me that all these words have both disadvantages and advantages at the same time
I love that duotrigordle lets you hide solved boards and also marks when you won't need a letter anymore. The new 64 wordles game should really have that
Cool video! Considering how each 50/50 FILET has is basically like another guaranteed solve, you take the 36 actual guaranteed solves plus 23 50/50s which is 59 guaranteed. My gosh that's a lot of them, you could probably go deeper if you considered 33/33/33s and 25/25/25/25s too
Finally won with "tromp" as my first word and of course a bit of luck today. I like the math behind "metro," but I've always preferred one vowel starters because I can start to sound out a word with all consonants better than with all vowels.
I always use "BUILT", "HEAVY", "WORDS" as the first 3 words.. these words not only have no repeating letters in them but also covers most of the letters in the alphabet. It helps me to solve every single board except the Perfect Challenge. These are 3 words I came up with, you can find any other combinational words too! Let me know if you find any such!!
Bold of you to assume that players know all 2315 answers and can find them like they’re a computer, being able to calculate how many possible followups there are.
I don’t know about the 1 possible follow up I think I’ve heard someone say BETON was a word but the 2 possible follow ups for the other one are OVERT and STORE.
when i saw trig(intillion) i immediately felt fear because it has 93 ZEROS, the 30th illion. therefor duotrigintillion IS the 32nd illinmand deserves 32 wordles
This works as far as best guess to create or win a perfect board, with resets. But, deeper into the game play, the game favours repeated letters, recent vocabulary, and finally, 'tricky' words
I'm interested what these odds are for Octordle. For the sake of reset sanity, it probably makes sense to ignore whether or not the first guess is correct there, though
surely in the case where there's no guaranteed solves you would pick an answer that would be the best moving forward, if it was correct? e.g. if you had just the green at the start of filet, fancy would be a better guess than fuzzy, so it wouldn't be picking a random answer
I have gotten two perfect duotrigordles starting with “stale,” but I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve gotten the first guess and had to quit because too many options
you can get perfect duotrigordle by looking up the answers for that day trust me 😎 nvm i just watched more than the first 120 seconds turns out you’re talking about the unlimited version
For the standard Wordle, what starting strategy do you use? You use a four-word starting strategy for speedruns, but I'm assuming that you don't do that for the standard Wordle.
Just found your channel, tried the daily challenge for the first time and got a 33 score in thirty minutes, so I decided to try for perfect. Still resetting…
@@locomotivetrainstation6053 That only uses 3 out of 6. I thought of the best 3 word starter a long time ago and it was entia, lords, and chump. The letter f turns out to not be as common as you might think.

I like polydle
No, it’s not. Polydle perfect mode just gives a random word that is an answer, not necessarily a word that gives you good follow ups

I tried filet about 30 times to no avail, then I went with stare, my wordle starting word, and got it right first try

What are the fifty-fifties and the guaranteed solves, because I can't find the lists.
At 05:46 the first one is Detox.
And the second one is store and overt
8:40 using your other hand to press an enter key might be a faster way to reset than pressing 'ok' with your mouse.
It is! I normally do that, I just didn't think it came across well on the recording so I used my mouse when recording those bits.
This was a great video and very informational, thank you! Your videos just keep getting better and better! Gonna go try some perfect duotrigordle now

Is Filet still the best word? And are there lists of the guaranteed follow up words? (without using a program/script that shows them to you)

Very close to Salet. Interesting...
