I loved my crayons. They tasted great. Used to eat them with a paste dip. I sat in the corner alone a lot. I liked it that way. So did everyone else.
U don't "EAT" freaking crayons dude u "DRAW" with them, and there "WAX" so y might get "SICK"!!!!!🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
I ate a lot of those in the Marine Corps… red was the best !
Know people that were eating dog food thinking it's salami. They were bragging about it to, never told them. like 5 years till they found out the and had a good laugh on it. Now they are eating normal regular salami... My take out of this is. If it does the job intented and bothers nobody...well then sir hats of to you
you eat....
crayons?
I remember these exact style of crayons when I was little… in 2009 I’m a young boi right now but I remember my old school having these very old crayons
My cousin had these. We sharpened the crayons to nubs.
I had one of those boxes! It was fun organizing the crayons according to saturation, hue, or color.
Dude! I wanna party with YOU
I may have organized mine according to emotional state and chronologically, similar to what John Cusack did with his album collection in "High Fidelity".
I was at first incredulous, then smitten the moment I saw my first 64. More than a year I waited and hoped that I would get the call to join the chosen few in holding this opulent cornucopia of artistic opportunities. When I finally did get the big 64 box, I felt that I had arrived. So strange what we were impressed by as children.
Watching this, I can actually recall the smell of those crayons.
I still sniff my new 30+ year old crayons
I love crayola crayons and markers and colored pencils
Burnt Sienna. What happened?
DV: Too racist!
I used these when I was a kid.
I love crayola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love crayola crayons and markers colored penicles to
The Holy Grail of crayon boxes.
I seem to recall a flat box that had more crayons (128?), but probably the same number of colors.
@@issuma8223 I vaguely recall that as well.
@@issuma8223 I'm a 90s child but I know they had 96 packs in a box larger than this but same overall shape, and a 120 pack in more of a flat box, but this was in the 90s/early 2000s.
@@borandolph1267 What I recall is that some kid in my second grade class came in after Christmas 1969 with a big flat box of crayola crayons. I believe that those of us with the 64-count boxes consoled ourselves with the thought that we still had the same number of colors, although we would obviously have welcomed a few extra blacks. I also remember that with the upright 64 box, it was difficult to return a crayon to its sleeve if it was too short but, although the flat box solved that issue, it was prone to spill its contents in a school bag.
Actually, the Holy Grail of Crayola boxes is the Crayola No. 52 from 1939. I don't have it, it's *that* rare.
Wow that last line. Using them back then I remember only one labeled 'flesh'.
Remember when they had a color called 'flesh'? Yeah, that wouldn't fly these days.
Mixing colors isn't an option with crayons.. maybe they'd call skin shades white person, and the others you'd be out of luck.. unless you want to paint with acrylic.. then you're able to make any color in the spectrum by mixing primaries.
They renamed it peach.
Born in '65. Remember it well.
Yes it would.
Now they have a dedicated box of skin tones called "Colors of the World" 24 count. Love that all the kids can find a color similar to themselves.
It’s ironic that the colors aren’t vibrant in this commercial.
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Problem with the sharpener, as my parents saw it, there was a lot of crayon wasted in shavings.
That's because you ground them all down to a nub, then got the shavings all over the place.
I have these
Ahh the bad old days.
Pink is considered a shade of red.
We make a brown green, a browner green, a grey green...
Some of the browns are actually orange.
I want it😢😢😢
Pretty crappy color if you’re trying to show colors.
Green
I had this but had absolutely zero artistic talent. Music was much more my thing,
That smell.
Todays crayons lack that classic smell.
Must have been lead based pigments.
Probably the chemicals used in the manufacturing process to make the wax flow into and release from the mold.
I wonder if the white ones still taste like blue cheese? They were different from all the rest for some reason.
But they are high in lead and Chinese Drywall. So it's great.
The Crayon colors in 64 count Crayola Box are:
blue, black, brown, green, orange, red, violet (purple), yellow. carnation pink, blue green, blue violet, red orange, red violet, WHITE, yellow green, yellow orange. Proof to all the deniers that yes, WHITE is a color too!
Sea Green was the best
Yep 👍🏻!
its crayon not crayon
