I can't wait for this. It looks so good. As someone who got to do a little racing on dirt(northeastern dirt modifieds).. I really hope iRacing can pull off the physics. Many others have tried and many have failed. Knowing iRacing's attention to detail though... I have high hopes. I really hope iRacing has future plans to implement northeast style dirt modifieds from the super dirt series. I drove a sportsman for 2 seasons and it was loads of fun.
The Outside Groove the damage physics are imbarrassing for a game that puts a lot of attention into detail. Crashes are a part of the sport, and if can flip 5 times with a few dents here and there, it is a real letdown.
I am excited yet hesitant at the same time. It's hard enough to get a decent race in at a track like Michigan or California where you have all the room you need. Yet somehow the races still end up being filled with cautions. I can about imagine what it's going to be like on dirt especially with the sprint cars.
This is why I hope people just put in some practice before jumping into races, but I'm sure there will be a few who don't. At least we get to run test laps while the servers are down if we preordered the content, maybe that will force most people to put a few laps down lol.
11.95 per car, 14.95 per track. 4 Cars [Sprints,Latemodels,Streetstocks, trucks] (the street stock might be free) ($47.80 for 3 cars / $35.85 for 3 cars). $44.85 for 3 tracks. All this info is what iRacing has done in the past, nothing is set in stone and things are subject to change.
And that can vary dependent on package discounts (up to 20% i think?) for buying multiple pieces of content, plus you can get in-game participation credit (i just got $4 for racing in a car i've own for 6 years) up to $40 per year. So you could end up paying like $9? :) I mean for me I default get a 30% discount for being in the 100% club. So it's like... not that much. At least compared to what I spend eating out per month or on movies or other games in general and I get a lot more joy from iRacing. :)
Do It After Smoking I hope you realize not everyone can afford Iracing. Just be happy you can. Many like myself rely on console because we can not afford Iracing. And what is wrong with monster trucks? Monster Jam events are exciting.
I'm in no way making fun of people that play consoles. I'm saying if you want monster trucks that kind of stuff already exists in GAMES.. No need to have monstertrucks in a racing SIM.. thats all..
If the game was more realistic in its steering it would be great. It’s way too touchy. Turn the steering wheel a little bit to fast and the car crashes. A person can’t control the car as it should be. When i turn my steering wheel in my car is doesn’t spin out like that car in the iracing game. Which for me is real disappointing.
Sure, my number of oval races is just a quarter of my road races. But this is Dirt Oval man!!! That is freakin intense.. To say boring? Have you attended a race before? As a spectator oval racing is WAY better than watching a road race, waiting 60 seconds between seeing the cars go by is kinda boring.

They're releasing the tracks at the same price as the cars, so $11.95 for each piece of content.
*visions of walls full of sprintcars*
I love you Christopher bell
Looking good.
Now we need Monster Trucks!
May I suggest Xbox?
Console gaming would kill iRacing. It will never happen.
Dude... I was telling him to go play xbox because if he wants monster trucks he can go play little kid games..

Looks realy boring...
Haha. You oval guys... The light is on but there is no one home right?

Did you check out the VR one? Looks like it's super bumpy.
I think my euro genes are incompatible with circleracing. The only circletracks I like are super roundabouts.
Man.. check out some incar footage or an Outlaws race some time.. it's intense racing, even if it is a little dizzying :)
only 7 down likes? for fraud... hmm
touring cars please not this rubbish
