If you love Crash Landing and Past Lives, I would recommend First Love (2022, Netflix).
It's a whole Netflix series inspired by one of the most famous heartbreak songs of 90s/y2k J-POP, First Love by Utada Hikaru. It's second chance love, it's yearning, it's high school sweethearts, ugh it's so good! It's also evokes 90s nostalgia in the best way - the scream I scrumpt when one of the characters complained that the consumption tax was going up to 5 percent (it's 10 percent rn) lol.
I second that recommendation. I really enjoyed First Love as well and I listened to the song on loop for weeks after finishing it.

oh and recent favorites of mine include huge ice cubes (SO much better in a giant iced coffee than small ones) and journaling before bed. entertainment-wise I've been really into the German version of the comedy show LOL!

I am hesitant to recommend Kardeslerim and Tozluyaka because they also lose the plot after season 1 but season 1 was so good

A very niche romance show recommendation but I think it's on worldwide netflix! (At least you never know when they take things off 😬) But thats Anne+ a Dutch lesbian show !! There is also a movie that comes after the show

idk if I have any new favorites lately. I'm in kind of a rut but I think mostly that's because I've been organizing my rooms and going through stuff. Reading has been at a bit of a standstill but I'm finally wrapping things up with cleaning my space and am ready to fully get into reading and watching things again. A new specific interest has been sparked [nun-related and religious themed books & movies] so I want to actually get into it.... in my nun era?? I maybe should have a better name for it. I was also doing organizing in online spaces, namely my Letterboxd because I have so many fricken (frickin?) lists!! Anyway, a few things I am obsessed with lately are (1) my redone room- I love my shelves so much!- and (2) Buffy The Vampire Slayer- I'm doing a buddywatch with a friend, it's her first time watching it but it's a rewatch for me. It's in my top 10 fav shows, somewhere between 3-6 probably, lol. And I made a discord for us to have Buffy-related messages and conversations in one place. I made images for the significant character deaths and I posted the ones so far in the "The Cemetery 🪦" channel. I just made the images over the weekend and I was cracking myself up- literally me at my computer laughing while photoshopping images of characters onto gravestones, haha 💀The way I get into and commit to things like this is so funny. Reminded me of the time I introduced my cousin to my favorite show [Twin Peaks] and when she had questions about characters I made a powerpoint presentation which was basically a guide to EVERY character even mentioned in Twin Peaks 🤣Also with making the discord I saved so many images off of tumblr of BTVS and my anticipation for later plots and arcs and a particular character is HIGH. (We're currently only towards the beginning of season 2.) So that's where I'm at with the obsession rn of a show I'm rewatching, lol

@StoriesForCoffee I love that! I used to do that all the time when I used snapchat a LOT but the app kept crashing for my bff, so I don't do it nearly as much anymore. I'm curious, who is her favorite BTVS character, if you don't mind asking?

Erkenci kus is so old and like most Turkish shows, it just veers off to no plot, just vibes halfway into that 100 mark. However, I understand the appeal as I started it quite enthusiastically too
