Latest Update On Beryl As Hurricane Watches Issued For Texas...

- A hurricane watch has been issued for Texas and northeastern Mexico coast as hurricane conditions are possible as Beryl is forecast to re-intensify over the next 3 days. But how significant will the impacts be?
Key Messages:
1. There is an increasing risk of damaging hurricane-force winds and
life-threatening storm surge in portions of northeastern Mexico and
the lower and middle Texas Coast late Sunday and Monday where
Hurricane and Storm Surge Watches have been issued. Additional
watches may be required tonight or early Saturday. Interests in
these areas should follow any advice given by local officials.
2. Flash and urban flooding are possible across portions of the
Texas Gulf Coast and eastern Texas from Sunday through the middle of
next week.
3. Rip currents will cause life-threatening beach conditions through
the weekend across much of the Gulf Coast. Beachgoers should heed
warning flags and the advice of lifeguards and local officials
before venturing into the water.
4. Strong winds, storm surge, and heavy rainfall will continue over
northern portions of the Yucatan Peninsula this evening.

People need to pay attention in Southeast Texas. Remember Harvey rapidly intensifies into a major hurricane at landfall. The good news is it will move and not stall, unlike Harvey. Cannot rule out a major hurricane with extremely warm sea surface temperatures, upper Ocean Heat Content, and lower shear. Have to see how tomorrow will play out.
Let Harvey rest. Harvey done came and want. I'm so tired of hearing y'all say every time something happens we'll just pull a Harvey. All storms are different and you'll need to concentrate on the one you all getting not Harvey.
@roxannehudson7410 the path is similar to Harvey. Right now, Beryl is dealing with the shear. Good news. Still could be landfall as a Category 1, 2, or low end 3 at worst case scenario. My thinking is at 100 or 105 at landfall. Time is running out. Saw the hurricane models and intensity is down little bit.

Galveston or Sabine Pass will be it's landfall and the hurricane is going through a strengthen manifestation will be a Cat 3 at landfall
