Nice video actually. Detailed explanations of your thought process. But how DO you find your win con? It's so dependent on your character, the opponent's char, your playstyle and their playstyle. I guess it just comes from experience? It's very easy to think my wincon is to just ch launch+wallbreak and they die right? The process to getting there is just as important right? Do you have like several wincons in mind as soon as the match starts and plans to get there?

Usually I think of characters strengths and weaknesses playing into what their character lacks. Jin being blessed with everything. I wouldn't want to contest Bryan at mid-range since QCB1 and 3+4. I make him open me up, which is what I showed in my last video if you want to check it out. its a pretty loaded question I usually analyze the opponent to see what type of playstyle (unsafe strings, moves) sidestep tendencies. I then contest them with the best solution and try to push an advantage to win the round. Timing in the sense of knowing when to challenge; if you challenge to quickly and get nothing for it if they implement adaptations, you then have to deal with timing and mixes. Make them pay dearly for mistakes; Bryan doesnt have good mid pokes. Fuzzy, sidestep could be very strong. A character like Bryan blows you up on CH, but he can struggle trying to open you up. especially a player who hasn't really tried before. people run offense into offense. offense into defense could be unfamiliar for them. A character like Kazuya can open you up with hellsweeps. However, Kazuya, same as Bryan, besides df1 (turn losing) and DF2 (unsafe), has most of his other options to check mid are bad.
I play a defensive playstyle, which requires a lot more frame knowledge than forcing your offense on the opponent.
TLDR You need to actively problem-solve. problem, present solution whenever you need. timing and reads im just yapping but i hope this helps somehow
