Hello . I did not understand , why you said no deductions for uber eats ? We deducted our annual income from 4k to 500$ . We entered all our milages in 2023 , cell phone , internet even we uploaded that how much money we spend for gas in 2023 for uber eats . Why there is no deductions you said sir ? Thank you for answer !
Thanks for the video! So since I'll be making under 30k doing uber eats I won't have to register/report/claim HST, great, that being said can I still claim my expenses (gas, car repairs etc?) Even though I'm below 30k and not registered for HST? Or is HST and a business number REQUIRED to make even those claims?
@@truthbomb886 not according to turbo tax, they base the 30k limit on the self-employment income only. I already paid tax on my regular income from my employer
@@truthbomb886 thank you for that clarification! So lets say i made 2000$ so far this year but my car broke down and cost 3000$ to repair will taxes start counting once i start making more than 3000$ given the logic of the net income being 40$. Further am I allowed to buy a new phone as a write off since my current one is very old and shuts off during orders sometimes? @instaccountant
The 30k limit is including only the revenue from the self-employed side hustles I am doing(in this case uber eat), isn’t? Btw thanks for your video!! it clears things up

What if after deducting expenses from uber skip income. The expenses are more. So can we claim that next year?
You can only claim deductions within the same tax year.
If I am a restaurant receiving $113 from Uber Eats in my bank. We should assume $113 includes HST, and the gross amount would be $100?
It's unclear without reviewing the specific payment invoice.
Do you have a video tutorial on how actually do the file tax for Uber eat drivers ? What form to fill out, how etc

If you have detailed records, you should be able to claim those deductions.

Hello, I have a question are uber eats tips tax deductible?
No, tips are taxable income.
Hi, I earned around 4K during 2023 with Uber Eats delivery . I am wondering if I have to submit it for taxes or not??
Yes you have to along with all income from any other sources.
Can we use the standard mileage calculation as an uber eats driver?
No. Actual expenses only
thanks
