Location Sound Bag Tour 2024

In this episode I will show you the contents of my sound bag and what I use on daily basis to capture location sound.
This is by no means end all, be all solution, but hopefully it will help you in your location sound journey.
I should also note that A10TX&RX has been discontinued by sound devices and is no longer supported by them!

thx for the upload, love me a good audio bag walk-through. :-) Would you say it's strictly necessary to have a true audio bag like this when doing corporate interviews and similar?

It’s not necessary, but it does look a lot better to producers & other crew when you walk in like that (a lot of this business is how you present yourself).
It will also make your life easier in many ways having everything organized and easily accessible.

Nice video. What features specifically made you upgrade from the mix pre to the 888?

1. More routing options.
2. More physical outs.
3. Ability to use comms straight into the mixer.
4. Overall bigger screen
5. DUAL SD CARD SLOT + INTERNAL SSD (This one is a must on a professional set).
6. Ability to add SL2 in the future and remote control A20TX/RX + Remote Control of Antennas.
Sound wise they are close. Want to even say the same to be honest.
But all of the above mentioned features were becoming a must for me.
