I know the bands I posted on the first video in this series weren't the most punk, but here are some more of my modern favorites (that are probably more punk). 1. Cran - I second this killer cold oi! band from France. I wouldn't have found out about them without this channel so thank you for that. 2. Speech Odd - Powerviolence with elements of hardcore punk and grindcore from Thailand with a female lead singer. Vicious stuff. 3. Deselect - From about 1-2 hours away from me in San Jose, CA, this band is blackened hardcore and speed metal that sounds like if a band like Darkthrone or Mayhem started a hardcore punk band to cover Venom and Motorhead songs. They only have a 10 minute demo but it rips. 4. PUP - Canadian band from Toronto that is punk rock, but leans more towards hardcore punk on the early material and pop-punk on the newer material. Their 2019 album Morbid Stuff is one of my all time favorites. 5. Perennial - A blend of art punk and post-hardcore with both male and female vocals. Their album Art History from this year is fantastic.
@JL-mk8pb no worries, lol, I was so shocked bc i went out of my way to make sure I wasn't being lazy and put the images on there. It's wayyyyy more work to do that, too, so I had to go double check to make sure I uploaded the correct file!
@DeathTrap-tc6uv ill do that after it's been up for 7 days. If I did that now, a fair amount of people would just skip the video and look at the list there, and that defeats the purpose of me doing the work and getting the images into the video and all. I typically jot things down on paper or my phone when watching videos like this, tho, for the same reason.
Thanks for the shout out, as always! Appreciate ya, my dude!
Absolutely man, I was blown away when I finally got to see you guys play live!
Awesome list man great new stuff to listen to

Have No Heroes is band I just found out about recently. Their record “plastic world” came out in 2018, but holy shit, it’s great.
@@PS_Bass ill check it out!!!
Loving this video, but a suggestion for next time, can you post pictures on the screen of the cover of the band and/or album you're talking about?
I did do that... there is an album cover for every band mentioned on this video... 😂😂😂😂😂
@@thepunkrockreview ahh I did catch that. But it was just at the beginning. I was doing stuff while listening and didn't catch it

thanks for the luv homie!
@ScoopedUp always man, it's deserved. This video was made the NIGHT BEFORE you jumped on the stream! How crazy is that?
You should list the bands you guys picked in the comments or something so we can search them out. There’s a couple I want familiar with this time.

1) pup
2) fire sale
3) out in style
4) Moore ave
5) suck bricks kid
That would be my pick for “newish” punk bands that need more love.
@joshfrench5858 have literally never heard one of those bands! Guess I have some stuff to check out!
Apathy Cycle
I'll check it out!
