How I Made A Web App With No Experience

In this video I run you through the process of installing and using GPT Pilot, which is an open source web application software development agent, which actually works.
GPT Pilot looks like it might actually take over from software engineers, at least to create an MVP. I'm not saying they'll be completely replaced, but I would definitely be worried.
I have never been able to successfully launch a web app in a localhost like this - at least not to this level, I've been able to do the basics of course.

Instructions to using GPT Pilot:
git clone github.com/Pyt... gpt-pilot
pip install virtualenv
virtualenv gpt-pilot-environment
Open PowerShell: Press Windows key + X and then choose "Windows PowerShell (Admin)" from the menu that appears. Alternatively, you can search for "PowerShell" in the Start menu, right-click the Windows PowerShell result, and select "Run as administrator" to open PowerShell with administrative privileges.
Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope Process
.\gpt-pilot-environment\Scripts\Activate.ps1
pip install -r requirements.txt
gpt-pilot-env\scripts\activate

Just a heads up, the issue with the csv renaming and upload not working is because you do not have file extensions visible on your Windows file manager, meaning you weren't affecting the extension when renaming just adding .csv before the extension within the filename. Eg product1.csv.txt. this should work if renaming within vscode file list. You can turn on extension in Windows file manager settings

Pythagora (formerly GPT-Pilot) is free (as in speech) but you will have to pay for the AI at OpenAI - for ChatGPT, or Anthropic - for Claude or whichever AI service you hook up to. You could end up spending $15 for something relatively simple. Of course, the chances of finding a programmer to build you an app for $15 are pretty slim.
