Got killed up to 50 times and I couldn't go passive mode cause I was on a mission and waited 15 min for the timer to end. After activating passive mode, he texts racist slurs. 😅😭
I had one guy do this with me for almost an hour and a half after I wouldn't get in his car. I went passive and he continued for another 40 minutes. Taunting and crashing cars into the wall next to me. Even when I wouldn't move for extended periods didn't deter him. It's so weird how into being annoying some will get

i genuinely can’t remember the last time i played in a public lobby, either by myself or with friends. the amount of kids on their oppressors or tanks or jets or whatever is mind boggling and you can’t even breathe without someone killing you for no reason. private lobbies are the way to go ✌️

Something what really bugs me is that you cannot join sessions as a party. It would save lots of time if you could just team up with your mates and look for a session together instead of hoping that you can join your friend’s lobby which is almost too full to join (25+ players is already a struggle)
When you complete a heist and it puts you and your friends into a individual invite only, even if you were all together in a friend/invite only lobby to begin with
god freaking agree every time i do a freak shop job with a friend were all disbanded when the job is over and i have to re invite them to the lobby again

@@DOBBAPHOENIX With a little imagination, the tug boat can be a lot of fun. Like the yacht, you can fit an entire lobby on the deck, unlike the yacht, you can actually cruise around. Back it up to Del Perro pier, and you can jump cars off the pier onto the back deck. and can fit a few cars before capsizing.

You forgot when npcs have 1000% more accurate aiming, can rapid fire with the worst weapons in the game, can sometimes be off the radar, and 10000% accurate in drive by vehicles/helicopters, But when we try to do the same, we miss every single attack.

@@domSB If you played the ms baker missions they are alot more difficult you're get like 7-8 guys shooting you all at once but some of them will have a high chance of rapid firing, killing you one hit even with full heath and body. armor.
I have actually had NPCs hit me from a Helicopter WHILE IT WAS FALLING FROM THE SKY!!! SERIOUSLY?!? If I was in a Helicopter that was spinning out of control I think I would have trouble with my aim let alone have the wherewithal in my head to keep trying to shoot the guy on the ground while I am in a Helicopter that is plummeting towards annihilation and impending death. I'm just not buying that a person can reasonably be expected to pull off a shot like that.

Awhile back, I saw someone else mention that, either Facebook or another RUclips video, I've tried it and it's a 50/50 shot for me. Sometimes I'll load into a lobby still registered and sometimes I'll get the message that the max CEO/VIP/MC is in the lobby and I'll get mine revoked. I'm on PlayStation if that helps with why it happens to me.
@@Cody-Bear Depends how many lobbies there are in your area. The game generally will not start a new lobby just for you, especially if other lobbies have vacancy for players.
They should have PvE lobbies for grinders and people who don't want to deal with PvP/griefers. I know they made it so businesses can be done in solo lobbies, but it would be nice to be able to do it peacefully with other players. You may even get people to cooperate and help them sell their businesses together.
Agree 1000%. They could easily implement a behavior monitoring algorithm to allow the griefers to have their fun climaxing together and the rest of us can simply grind away to get enough money for a new car or something...
On the other hand, owning a car that is removed from the shop makes it a bit more special i think. I make it a point to try and drive special cars around the map just to show them off. Everytime i see a car i look to see what the owner did with it. It is sad that you either only see the super cars or the military fighting vehicles almost always specked out as if the owner just threw up on his keyboard. And it doesn't have to be all bells and whistles. I have a lot of cars that just have one or two colors and no livery. Although we have car meets and a tuner club it would be nice if GTA would make it less informal and did something with a voting system where players could rate cars.
You know what feature I love though? The ability to go into a private session and do everything you can do in an online session, except without the griefing or cheaters. In other words, the best part of GTA online is the ability to play it without other players.
Yeaaaa but that sell bonuses are really really nice, I just got to the point where I feel the lobby out before I start doing sell missions. An additional $2-3-4 hundred thousand on a sell will make you take some risk. The feel out is important, come in do a couple little small things, like check on your nightclub, boost your acid lab production, hit a couple of your other properties/businesses, do some time trials or something to see if you get randomly targeted first, take the temperature of the room. If things go smooth riding around doing those tasks then start unloading some product from your businesses at the new inflated rate
@@MemphisMo The peace of mind is worth more than a few 100k. No amount of feeling out a session is going to prevent some random idiot deciding they want to ruin your day. I'm 3k+ hours into this game, I've had enough of that crap. The only way to have a good experience in GTA Online these days is to have a friends only session or play it as GTA Offline.
Fair enough, I totally get it and I too used to only do invite only lobbies for sells. When I was struggling to get money and make money I was really protective of it but now that I have millions and make millions rather quickly, I don't worry so much and I very rarely get my sell missions hit to where I lose my product. I've failed more sell missions getting my vehicle stuck somewhere or driving off into the water than I've had due to grief-ing. I'd say maybe 4 to 5 times max, there have been a couple times I've had to fight off some guys or out run them but it's part of the thrill I guess and also rare with my method. @@DaHitch
The thing that annoys me the most that was not mentioned is the fact that you now have to do 2 or 3 Cayo Pericos to afford a single supercar and then do a bunch more Cayo Pericos to be able to upgrade it to go at a good speed. It's almost impossible for new players to get any decent amount of cars without spending time on the game like it is a full time job.
You may want to acquire an additional business that can make you money passively. And perhaps leave your game on, unattended, to fuel your criminal pursuits.
For me the most annoying thing (by a mile) is how NPC enemies are all world class sharp shooters, they nearly never miss, even when you are in a moving vehicle or trying to run away doing a zig zag to confuse them.
Everything mentioned in this video is why I play Invite-Only sessions and grind for money. A quick way to get there is to start the Story Mode, then switch to Invite Only. I can not imagine playing online when the orbital cannon can blow you up. I'm not going to be target practice. I used to join Online for the races and special events in the public lobbies, but now it's not even worth it.
Can't combine masks with glasses (without glitch) same with plate carriers and pouches, Just the clothing limits in general. Gang attacks, Inflation, removal of cars, cargobob lift inconsistency. NPC's have superhuman accuracy (clearing the strip club for a watch, they're on the opposite side of a room with curtains etween you, you can't see them but they can headshot you while shooting blind behind the bar).
I hate that every time a new business is added there always has to be an annoying character that constantly spams you with phone calls pestering you to buy it, then when you eventually do buy it they act like THEY own the business even though we're the ones who spent millions on it, then they will take cuts from sell missions even though they've done no work at all, they just hang around the place
In my opinion the single biggest problem with GTA Online is how Rockstar implemented free mode. Allowing players to freely attack other players is what has caused the majority of the other game's problems. If Rockstar added a feature where you and another player must first agree to enable PvP in free mode before you can damage each other, the griefing problem would be reduced substantially. Another idea is to give wanted levels to people who crash into other players who are doing free mode events. People trying to mess with other players should face some form of consequence. Also, those who agree to PvP should not get a wanted level. If Rockstar want people to fight in free mode there should be some benefit to doing it, and punishment for people who intentionally kill themselves. For the orbital cannon, all Rockstar needs to do is copy the mugger system and apply it to the cannon. A player shouldn't be hit by the cannon more than once per in-game day. Dealing with cheaters would be a much tougher challenge for Rockstar. If they looked to RP servers and how they are maintained, they might be able to apply some of their security measures to the vanilla online.

I dared to do a sourcing cargo mission in a public lobby yesterday and almost immediately saw a jet icon on the minimap heading towards me. Luckily the sparrow is fast and manouverable so I was able to flee to the skyscrapers and made the jet guy crash in one of the buildings. That honestly was almost as satisfying as finishing Cayo Perico 😂
One thing that bugs the hell out of me is when we are on the brink of finishing the heist and someone leaves. I’ve had if happen to me during the Diamond Casino Heist (with a full bag of Diamonds, no cops alerted, with the helicopter) and suddenly someone left.
As a new player in 2022, I was overwhelmed by the number of different entities that were so interested in me helping them. Maybe experience players already knew what was going on and don’t want to wait, but I would have preferred the game taking me through a training path where I could get more understanding of things instead of just throwing everything at me at once. I actually early on purchased the arena war property because I thought I read something that said it was the best thing to have, and I had no idea as a completely new player why all of these NPC‘s were suddenly considering me the person to go to for Criminal resources. I should have to build up some kind of rep I would think.

For real, I've been playing the game for months but i only recently bought a vehicle warehouse and started running vehicle cargo with my business. Before that i just did business battles, collect g's cache, raid stash houses, do junk energy sky trialsmess around, and now i do the junk energy bike trials
Same happened to me, I didn't understand anything but asking players some questions and looking up guides I understood everything in a couple days, now I purchased a sub and griding Cayo Perico
NPC's in general, not just specifically the npc cars that spawn and crash into you on the road, but also like the cops because when you have to deal with an annoying pvp player and you actually fight back to make them ragequit the session so you don't have to find a new one, you get the cops for literally defending yourself. The cops kill you and honestly just get in your way, also when you are driving you can randomly get a wanted level or even crash into a cop on accident chasing someone else or they crash into you therefore you get a wanted level. Now you have to spend the next few minutes getting rid of your wanted level rather than being able to continue whatever you are doing.
For all the griefer stuff, I have a pretty large group of people I play games with. We literally have invite only lobbies with max players pretty regularly. It's awesome because we can have our own lobby with multiple groups just doing our own thing
6:57 it never made sense why vehicles don't spawn on Elysian island nightclub but they spawn next to MW HQ. the game shows that it is a road that can be used bc it processes the request for a car to spawn next to you. there's literally no reason for the car to spawn at mw hq
When the primary daily objective is a Freemode Event/Challange, or heist finale, or generally anything that forces you to go into a griefer filled lobby or require a random other player of any kind

I hate the timers because of how long they are generally you’re fine but if you get shot out of you vehicle and spawn far away or spin out there’s no coming back. It’s like a punishment for bad luck. I stopped racing in gta online because of the amount of times I was spun out when I was in a good position. Getting kicked for being idle is annoying you go to get a drink or something and come back to find you were kicked. Crashing and losing out on money, progress in a mission or a car from the casino wheel needs to be fixed. The pay out to cost ratio is terrible as well it becomes that gta online is chore rather than entertainment. I think a thing people can agree with is filling a lobby for activities or heists is terrible.
Armed NPCs hiding in a cornered area waiting for the right moment to surprise attack you. Armed NPCs taking cover and accurately shooting at you while you struggle to shoot them. That one player who turns on you and your crew after completing a mission.
Agree with all of that. I have been playing GTA Online since the day it came out on PS4 and only moved over to PC a year and a half ago. I now actually have friends to play with and it is amazing. But the most annoying thing is the random disconnections. When it's just me and my one friend, it takes about 20 minutes to get into the same lobby again, but we now have a third friend which somehow makes it much easier. We do 'urban exploring' with our bikes, go off-roading in Sandkings or any of the other horde of off-roading vehicles, we do Cayos together, we just have fun. And then one of us disconnects. Very annoying.
Swimming away from Cayo Perico, nobody saw me leave yet the boats and chopper are on me in seconds and even though I'm swimming really deep underwater they still shoot me and the take gets reduced
The reason we have the option to do jobs and missions in a public or private session is mainly so you can do stuff without dealing with griefers and toxic people who wants to ruin it for other players there's alot of players who are quite happy with the changes that were made they can do stuff make money and not having to worry about the toxic players.
1. For the cap on CEO/MC, remove the colors for those so we can have the increased cap, if it's just one person in that CEO that activated ghost, or their selling stuff or doing a job, just have their name come up instead of their Business Name, if theirs multiple players in one group then have the colors to indicate their all together and use the business name. 2. For Open Mics in free roam, like how Xbox and their Party Chats show who's talking, have it in the top right on who's talking in game chat. It would make things so much easier when it comes to finding them and muting them on the player's list or reporting their account for microphone spam. 3. Allow Player's to disable receiving Phone Messages in-game from other player's, I couldn't care less when people send messages to me with "1v1" "trash lzz" "hide in RC Lzz" and so on. I couldn't care less and don't bother replying to messages from other players so being able to disable messages from being sent to me would be nice.
7:21 Fun fact: There are no GTA Online "servers" in the sense you're describing them. You get connected to lobbies/sessions through a peer-to-peer system, meaning each lobby/session is hosted by one of the people in them. If that host happens to be a PoS modder, many things can go wrong causing you to get kicked or stuck in the clouds.
That's crazy they're still P2P, with how much money they've made off the game you think they could scrape a crumb off that profit for dedicated servers
Something I never hear from anyone is whenever you are at a store, LS Customs, or Barber shop, some player will come in and kill you and permanently close the place.
The thing i hate the most is when i walk into the nightclub and it gives me the "take the crackhead to the hospital" mission and its like 5 milles to sandy shores and you have to drive slow to the point that npc vehicles are overtaking you
Anyone that goes through the trouble to spend $500,000 or $750,000 to first remember a guys screen name, go all the way to their orbital cannon and blow you up, thats a bit too much determination lol
Let's list what really annoy players: 1 - Sucked griding - even cayo perico is not that good. 2 - Hackers and cheaters 3 - No coop session or war session 4 - Outdated heists 5 - Too much arcade stuff (mk2) 6 - Los Santos almost don't change (Mile High Club) 7 - Bad sport when you explode a war vehicle 😅 8 - Arsenal bug 9 - Many newer vehicles are inferior to older ones 10 - Rockstar only cares to money and stock market.
I don't know if this is console only, but I've been having a bug where I lose all control over my game in an instant. Basically, my controller still works because I can open the guide, but in-game I can't do anything. This can happen during freemode, missions and even during big sells. The only thing you can do is close the game and restart. It's infuriating
How about when you are in a friend lobby with friends and you start and finish any mission or heist with your friends...it puts everyone in separate invite only lobbies afterward instead of keeping everyone together.
How hard would it be to mark the players who's only goal is to kill everything that moves and put them all in the same lobby? Those people really are special.
The Epstein Island heist being possible with a single player makes me SO HAPPY. I've done it like five or six times by myself already and made over 7 or 8 mil.
A bug most people get on xbox is your controller decides to fuck off, for NO reason your controller stops working on the game, it works fine on xbox but doesnt work on gta specifically
1:41 I’m in the 200’s ranks and I still join low levels heist invites. I legit sat in the first ever heist with a level 20 for like 30 minutes waiting for them to do the hack and the drill. I didn’t even ask for more than the base cut bc it was the finale only. I just sat and ate my breakfast
I think it's worse when you help someone with their setups and they kick you or give you smallest cut. This is why I rarely help other players with heists, there is literally no incentive and high risk to help other players
@@Milty2001 That's why I set up heists myself and the cut is given before the heist, nobody can complain cause I paid for the setup with MY money and did everything myself, all they are there for is for extra take in the case of cayo perico and even that benefits them. I only give 15% but its justified, I always try to carry the heists
Not being able to sell multiple personal vehicles at once. Sometimes you need quick cash to finishing some upgrades and you have to wait until the timer runs out so that you can sell your cars
After being killed by griefers so many times, i got myself an opressor mk2 and i have to say it's pretty awesome. I kill players with a bounty all the time and i battle with fighterjets too, which is also nice because they seem to enjoy it as much as i do and are not trying to get away from it. I do sometimes shoot ''innocent'' players but i always try to avoid shooting at people with a business going on, i'll even protect them sometimes with my nightshark.
I also hate it when you have to evade a wanted level as part of a mission (security contract etc) and the way the helicopters just spawn in front of you. Or you find the perfect hiding spot and the police to go straifvt toward you every time even though theyre supposed to not know where you are
Ik lobbies are usually a war zone but I tend to fire first if someone gets close enough only if they are in something with weapons, I’m protecting any type of cargo, or their nose is pointed directly at us. I have lost all trust/faith in public lobbies and assume everyone within the mini map may be hostile
0:40 being in an invite only lobby and being a ceo then going to a pubic should keep your ceo and place you in a lobby fairly quickly.. worked for me so far on PS5
The thing that should be on this list is when you're on a sell mission, going as quick as you can in your Post Op van and then some NPC decides to rapidly change lanes as you are passing them. When you're driving those crappy vans, every second counts!
The most annoying thing about the game is waiting for another player in the 4 player mission (the lester heists. The Diamond Casino Heists & the Doomsday Heists.) Rockstar needs to fix it! so that the players can do solo missions. Instead of waiting 1-2 hours or more for another player to join and do a mission.
Naaa, the most important one you missed is when you call your personal vehicle and someone kills you. Then you have to wait another 2min to requested because it glitched
2:46 During one heist finale, specifically Prison Break, I set everyone's cut at 25% because I wanted the Even Split trophy or whatever it's called for giving everyone an even cut, and one guy wanted 30%. Luckily he wasn't a complete jerk other than just asking for 30%. I think it actually took 2, maybe 3 tries to actually finish the finale and that was probably my only time attempting Prison Break.

The disconnect during a mission is the most annoying thing that has made playing with friends very frustrating. And that is 100% on them. We all have high speed connections that are hard wired and it STILL happens more often then WE are comfortable with. No way to rejoin the mission, someone is stuck alone in missions trying to finish themselves OR just instant fail. Dumb.
I know rockstar kind of addressed this already, but yea the multiple vehicle runs for the "early" business is so very tedious/annoying. Also another thing that I am finding annoying is when i die to npcs (yes I do in fact die to them lol) on a bridge, and then get teleported about 1 mile away (hyperbole) and then have to run back to the supplies/car or whatever is very annoying. lol - Though the npcs do not seem to spawn either as much or at all when you play in a public lobby for the source vehicle in the ceo tower. Time limits for quests, and getting to the last objective with about a minute left, shooting the actual NPC characters in the head or with a barrage of bullets only for them to get back up and kill me. - I can respect not wanting to make it easy but yea the amounts of times i pump an npc full of lead and they have gotten right back up is just irritating. xD
Pro tip on the getting raided part.. don’t be registered as an MC or CEO if you’re not actively resupplying or selling anything. They won’t raid you if you’re not registered. Your businesses will still make product as well, so no worries. If you’re not someone that pvp’s or uses ghost, then to minimize the amount of time your registered, resupply from the arcade.
True but ceo raid is so rare I’ve prob spent over 100 hours as a ceo and I’ve gotten the defend mission once but i literally won’t register as an mc until I’m in front of the buisness I wanna sell from lmao and I’ve STILL got a defend mission even when I was like 5 seconds away from entering the building
Ghillie Master put up a video awhile ago on Ghost Raids on Special Cargo and he wasn't even registered. And I was watching a livestream and reminded them to resign as CEO to prevent raids and what the hell happened? They were getting raided without a single phone call from their assistant and all of a sudden on their screen a message popped up saying something like "Product not defended" I'll look for the shirt they put out and link it
You still need to be MC/CEO to do heists and preps though... So as soon as you complete a prep or register to start a finale, while also having active businesses with product in them, you get raided.
For any loading screen stuck (PC only) or if you want a private public Lobby (even if you dont need it anymore, but I abued it before invite only got buffed) go to the resource monitor -> CPU -> Find GTA -> rightclick -> Suspend Process -> Wait 5-10 seconds (too long can kick you into single player) -> rightclick and resume it again. For others it appears that you left the lobby, but for you everyone else left the lobby and normally the stuck loading screen finally loads.
Tip: if you join an invite only session and become a VIP/MCP you can join a public session and will only let you join a session with a free boss space. You’ll join a public session as a boss 100% of the time
Not true. I used to try that but it was about 50/50 that I'd join as a CEO/MC. The other times I'd join a lobby and it'd give me a message that the CEO/MC/VIP was full and remove my status, but I don't even bother playing in public lobbies anymore.

Got killed up to 50 times and I couldn't go passive mode cause I was on a mission and waited 15 min for the timer to end. After activating passive mode, he texts racist slurs. 😅😭
I had one guy do this with me for almost an hour and a half after I wouldn't get in his car. I went passive and he continued for another 40 minutes. Taunting and crashing cars into the wall next to me. Even when I wouldn't move for extended periods didn't deter him. It's so weird how into being annoying some will get

Something what really bugs me is that you cannot join sessions as a party. It would save lots of time if you could just team up with your mates and look for a session together instead of hoping that you can join your friend’s lobby which is almost too full to join (25+ players is already a struggle)

Back it up to Del Perro pier, and you can jump cars off the pier onto the back deck. and can fit a few cars before capsizing.

You forgot when npcs have 1000% more accurate aiming, can rapid fire with the worst weapons in the game, can sometimes be off the radar, and 10000% accurate in drive by vehicles/helicopters, But when we try to do the same, we miss every single attack.

I have actually had NPCs hit me from a Helicopter WHILE IT WAS FALLING FROM THE SKY!!! SERIOUSLY?!? If I was in a Helicopter that was spinning out of control I think I would have trouble with my aim let alone have the wherewithal in my head to keep trying to shoot the guy on the ground while I am in a Helicopter that is plummeting towards annihilation and impending death. I'm just not buying that a person can reasonably be expected to pull off a shot like that.

Awhile back, I saw someone else mention that, either Facebook or another RUclips video, I've tried it and it's a 50/50 shot for me. Sometimes I'll load into a lobby still registered and sometimes I'll get the message that the max CEO/VIP/MC is in the lobby and I'll get mine revoked. I'm on PlayStation if that helps with why it happens to me.
@@Cody-Bear Depends how many lobbies there are in your area. The game generally will not start a new lobby just for you, especially if other lobbies have vacancy for players.
They should have PvE lobbies for grinders and people who don't want to deal with PvP/griefers. I know they made it so businesses can be done in solo lobbies, but it would be nice to be able to do it peacefully with other players. You may even get people to cooperate and help them sell their businesses together.
I tried hiring a body guard, and they helped me with the set up, but then the sell mission...they just fucking blew me up. Never again
Agree 1000%. They could easily implement a behavior monitoring algorithm to allow the griefers to have their fun climaxing together and the rest of us can simply grind away to get enough money for a new car or something...

One thing I REALLY hate is R* removing almost 200 cars with the Mercenaries update. That change alone made the Mercenaries update the worst.

I make it a point to try and drive special cars around the map just to show them off.
Everytime i see a car i look to see what the owner did with it.
It is sad that you either only see the super cars or the military fighting vehicles almost always specked out as if the owner just threw up on his keyboard.
And it doesn't have to be all bells and whistles. I have a lot of cars that just have one or two colors and no livery.
Although we have car meets and a tuner club it would be nice if GTA would make it less informal and did something with a voting system where players could rate cars.

You know what feature I love though? The ability to go into a private session and do everything you can do in an online session, except without the griefing or cheaters.
In other words, the best part of GTA online is the ability to play it without other players.
Yeaaaa but that sell bonuses are really really nice, I just got to the point where I feel the lobby out before I start doing sell missions. An additional $2-3-4 hundred thousand on a sell will make you take some risk. The feel out is important, come in do a couple little small things, like check on your nightclub, boost your acid lab production, hit a couple of your other properties/businesses, do some time trials or something to see if you get randomly targeted first, take the temperature of the room. If things go smooth riding around doing those tasks then start unloading some product from your businesses at the new inflated rate

The only way to have a good experience in GTA Online these days is to have a friends only session or play it as GTA Offline.
Fair enough, I totally get it and I too used to only do invite only lobbies for sells. When I was struggling to get money and make money I was really protective of it but now that I have millions and make millions rather quickly, I don't worry so much and I very rarely get my sell missions hit to where I lose my product. I've failed more sell missions getting my vehicle stuck somewhere or driving off into the water than I've had due to grief-ing. I'd say maybe 4 to 5 times max, there have been a couple times I've had to fight off some guys or out run them but it's part of the thrill I guess and also rare with my method. @@DaHitch
The thing that annoys me the most that was not mentioned is the fact that you now have to do 2 or 3 Cayo Pericos to afford a single supercar and then do a bunch more Cayo Pericos to be able to upgrade it to go at a good speed. It's almost impossible for new players to get any decent amount of cars without spending time on the game like it is a full time job.

For me the most annoying thing (by a mile) is how NPC enemies are all world class sharp shooters, they nearly never miss, even when you are in a moving vehicle or trying to run away doing a zig zag to confuse them.
I hate how you can get kicked for being idle in an invite only session by yourself.

Everything mentioned in this video is why I play Invite-Only sessions and grind for money. A quick way to get there is to start the Story Mode, then switch to Invite Only. I can not imagine playing online when the orbital cannon can blow you up. I'm not going to be target practice. I used to join Online for the races and special events in the public lobbies, but now it's not even worth it.
Can't combine masks with glasses (without glitch) same with plate carriers and pouches, Just the clothing limits in general.
Gang attacks, Inflation, removal of cars, cargobob lift inconsistency.
NPC's have superhuman accuracy (clearing the strip club for a watch, they're on the opposite side of a room with curtains etween you, you can't see them but they can headshot you while shooting blind behind the bar).
I hate that every time a new business is added there always has to be an annoying character that constantly spams you with phone calls pestering you to buy it, then when you eventually do buy it they act like THEY own the business even though we're the ones who spent millions on it, then they will take cuts from sell missions even though they've done no work at all, they just hang around the place
In my opinion the single biggest problem with GTA Online is how Rockstar implemented free mode. Allowing players to freely attack other players is what has caused the majority of the other game's problems.
If Rockstar added a feature where you and another player must first agree to enable PvP in free mode before you can damage each other, the griefing problem would be reduced substantially.
Another idea is to give wanted levels to people who crash into other players who are doing free mode events. People trying to mess with other players should face some form of consequence.
Also, those who agree to PvP should not get a wanted level.
If Rockstar want people to fight in free mode there should be some benefit to doing it, and punishment for people who intentionally kill themselves.
For the orbital cannon, all Rockstar needs to do is copy the mugger system and apply it to the cannon. A player shouldn't be hit by the cannon more than once per in-game day.
Dealing with cheaters would be a much tougher challenge for Rockstar. If they looked to RP servers and how they are maintained, they might be able to apply some of their security measures to the vanilla online.
1. This would be hard to manage, but different types of public lobbies (grinders, heists, and pvp)
2. All of GTA 5 and Oline - destructible trees and consistently destructible poles and signs
3. Being able to use the Avenger turrets in side missions
4. Being able to see through trees/bushes as the camera approaches them

I dared to do a sourcing cargo mission in a public lobby yesterday and almost immediately saw a jet icon on the minimap heading towards me. Luckily the sparrow is fast and manouverable so I was able to flee to the skyscrapers and made the jet guy crash in one of the buildings. That honestly was almost as satisfying as finishing Cayo Perico 😂
One thing that bugs the hell out of me is when we are on the brink of finishing the heist and someone leaves. I’ve had if happen to me during the Diamond Casino Heist (with a full bag of Diamonds, no cops alerted, with the helicopter) and suddenly someone left.
As a new player in 2022, I was overwhelmed by the number of different entities that were so interested in me helping them. Maybe experience players already knew what was going on and don’t want to wait, but I would have preferred the game taking me through a training path where I could get more understanding of things instead of just throwing everything at me at once.
I actually early on purchased the arena war property because I thought I read something that said it was the best thing to have, and I had no idea as a completely new player why all of these NPC‘s were suddenly considering me the person to go to for Criminal resources.
I should have to build up some kind of rep I would think.

The arena war is a waste of money if you don't have a consistent money making method. People only really use it to make trolling cars
For real, I've been playing the game for months but i only recently bought a vehicle warehouse and started running vehicle cargo with my business. Before that i just did business battles, collect g's cache, raid stash houses, do junk energy sky trialsmess around, and now i do the junk energy bike trials
Same happened to me, I didn't understand anything but asking players some questions and looking up guides I understood everything in a couple days, now I purchased a sub and griding Cayo Perico
NPC's in general, not just specifically the npc cars that spawn and crash into you on the road, but also like the cops because when you have to deal with an annoying pvp player and you actually fight back to make them ragequit the session so you don't have to find a new one, you get the cops for literally defending yourself. The cops kill you and honestly just get in your way, also when you are driving you can randomly get a wanted level or even crash into a cop on accident chasing someone else or they crash into you therefore you get a wanted level. Now you have to spend the next few minutes getting rid of your wanted level rather than being able to continue whatever you are doing.
For all the griefer stuff, I have a pretty large group of people I play games with. We literally have invite only lobbies with max players pretty regularly. It's awesome because we can have our own lobby with multiple groups just doing our own thing

6:57 it never made sense why vehicles don't spawn on Elysian island nightclub but they spawn next to MW HQ. the game shows that it is a road that can be used bc it processes the request for a car to spawn next to you. there's literally no reason for the car to spawn at mw hq

I hate the timers because of how long they are generally you’re fine but if you get shot out of you vehicle and spawn far away or spin out there’s no coming back. It’s like a punishment for bad luck. I stopped racing in gta online because of the amount of times I was spun out when I was in a good position. Getting kicked for being idle is annoying you go to get a drink or something and come back to find you were kicked. Crashing and losing out on money, progress in a mission or a car from the casino wheel needs to be fixed. The pay out to cost ratio is terrible as well it becomes that gta online is chore rather than entertainment. I think a thing people can agree with is filling a lobby for activities or heists is terrible.

Agree with all of that. I have been playing GTA Online since the day it came out on PS4 and only moved over to PC a year and a half ago. I now actually have friends to play with and it is amazing. But the most annoying thing is the random disconnections. When it's just me and my one friend, it takes about 20 minutes to get into the same lobby again, but we now have a third friend which somehow makes it much easier. We do 'urban exploring' with our bikes, go off-roading in Sandkings or any of the other horde of off-roading vehicles, we do Cayos together, we just have fun.
And then one of us disconnects. Very annoying.
Swimming away from Cayo Perico, nobody saw me leave yet the boats and chopper are on me in seconds and even though I'm swimming really deep underwater they still shoot me and the take gets reduced

The reason we have the option to do jobs and missions in a public or private session is mainly so you can do stuff without dealing with griefers and toxic people who wants to ruin it for other players there's alot of players who are quite happy with the changes that were made they can do stuff make money and not having to worry about the toxic players.
I hate when your in a heist with random ppl and they start messing around by running you over or destroy the vehicles
1. For the cap on CEO/MC, remove the colors for those so we can have the increased cap, if it's just one person in that CEO that activated ghost, or their selling stuff or doing a job, just have their name come up instead of their Business Name, if theirs multiple players in one group then have the colors to indicate their all together and use the business name.
2. For Open Mics in free roam, like how Xbox and their Party Chats show who's talking, have it in the top right on who's talking in game chat. It would make things so much easier when it comes to finding them and muting them on the player's list or reporting their account for microphone spam.
3. Allow Player's to disable receiving Phone Messages in-game from other player's, I couldn't care less when people send messages to me with "1v1" "trash lzz" "hide in RC Lzz" and so on. I couldn't care less and don't bother replying to messages from other players so being able to disable messages from being sent to me would be nice.

7:21 Fun fact: There are no GTA Online "servers" in the sense you're describing them. You get connected to lobbies/sessions through a peer-to-peer system, meaning each lobby/session is hosted by one of the people in them. If that host happens to be a PoS modder, many things can go wrong causing you to get kicked or stuck in the clouds.
That's crazy they're still P2P, with how much money they've made off the game you think they could scrape a crumb off that profit for dedicated servers

Something I never hear from anyone is whenever you are at a store, LS Customs, or Barber shop, some player will come in and kill you and permanently close the place.
There's actually something u can do when modders try to chase u - go passive mode. It's not 100% safe from their antics but it helps quite a lot.

I don't know if this is console only, but I've been having a bug where I lose all control over my game in an instant. Basically, my controller still works because I can open the guide, but in-game I can't do anything. This can happen during freemode, missions and even during big sells. The only thing you can do is close the game and restart. It's infuriating

How about when you are in a friend lobby with friends and you start and finish any mission or heist with your friends...it puts everyone in separate invite only lobbies afterward instead of keeping everyone together.

A bug most people get on xbox is your controller decides to fuck off, for NO reason your controller stops working on the game, it works fine on xbox but doesnt work on gta specifically

1:41 I’m in the 200’s ranks and I still join low levels heist invites. I legit sat in the first ever heist with a level 20 for like 30 minutes waiting for them to do the hack and the drill. I didn’t even ask for more than the base cut bc it was the finale only. I just sat and ate my breakfast
I think it's worse when you help someone with their setups and they kick you or give you smallest cut. This is why I rarely help other players with heists, there is literally no incentive and high risk to help other players
I used to join random heists and help them but most of the time they just end up giving me a small cut even though I carried them throughout the heist

@@Milty2001 That's why I set up heists myself and the cut is given before the heist, nobody can complain cause I paid for the setup with MY money and did everything myself, all they are there for is for extra take in the case of cayo perico and even that benefits them. I only give 15% but its justified, I always try to carry the heists
Not being able to sell multiple personal vehicles at once. Sometimes you need quick cash to finishing some upgrades and you have to wait until the timer runs out so that you can sell your cars
After being killed by griefers so many times, i got myself an opressor mk2 and i have to say it's pretty awesome. I kill players with a bounty all the time and i battle with fighterjets too, which is also nice because they seem to enjoy it as much as i do and are not trying to get away from it. I do sometimes shoot ''innocent'' players but i always try to avoid shooting at people with a business going on, i'll even protect them sometimes with my nightshark.

I also hate it when you have to evade a wanted level as part of a mission (security contract etc) and the way the helicopters just spawn in front of you. Or you find the perfect hiding spot and the police to go straifvt toward you every time even though theyre supposed to not know where you are
Ik lobbies are usually a war zone but I tend to fire first if someone gets close enough only if they are in something with weapons, I’m protecting any type of cargo, or their nose is pointed directly at us. I have lost all trust/faith in public lobbies and assume everyone within the mini map may be hostile
I once had to defend 3 MC businesses back-to-back-to-back.
I am absolutely irate anytime that happens to me, the raid timers being synchronized is such a pain
0:40 being in an invite only lobby and being a ceo then going to a pubic should keep your ceo and place you in a lobby fairly quickly.. worked for me so far on PS5
The thing that should be on this list is when you're on a sell mission, going as quick as you can in your Post Op van and then some NPC decides to rapidly change lanes as you are passing them. When you're driving those crappy vans, every second counts!
Doing a full business sell with a 3 Post Op vans solo, is basically a losing mission. You can only get 2 done even with a MkII

Dude I swear to God I only got 10 player sessions but once they added the max Ceo/Motorcycle club cap, I've only gotten full lobbies

If you start your MC or CEO business in an invite only, then go public, it will automatically find an open session for you.
If they wanted to encourage people playing in lobbies, they need moderators banning cheaters on sight.
The most annoying thing about the game is waiting for another player in the 4 player mission (the lester heists. The Diamond Casino Heists & the Doomsday Heists.) Rockstar needs to fix it! so that the players can do solo missions. Instead of waiting 1-2 hours or more for another player to join and do a mission.
Naaa, the most important one you missed is when you call your personal vehicle and someone kills you. Then you have to wait another 2min to requested because it glitched
2:46 During one heist finale, specifically Prison Break, I set everyone's cut at 25% because I wanted the Even Split trophy or whatever it's called for giving everyone an even cut, and one guy wanted 30%. Luckily he wasn't a complete jerk other than just asking for 30%. I think it actually took 2, maybe 3 tries to actually finish the finale and that was probably my only time attempting Prison Break.

#2 when someone kills me while im requesting a vehicle
#3 the advanced_handling_flags thing on certain cars
The disconnect during a mission is the most annoying thing that has made playing with friends very frustrating. And that is 100% on them. We all have high speed connections that are hard wired and it STILL happens more often then WE are comfortable with. No way to rejoin the mission, someone is stuck alone in missions trying to finish themselves OR just instant fail. Dumb.
1 thing I hate is when playing a job with a friend it splits us after it's done. It's always aggravating

If you wanna be a CEO in a public lobby register as a ceo in a solo session then switch back :)

Every time I get on gta I always get calls from npcs like lester, yusuf, and maude just to buy a stupid business that I can’t afford.

I know rockstar kind of addressed this already, but yea the multiple vehicle runs for the "early" business is so very tedious/annoying.
Also another thing that I am finding annoying is when i die to npcs (yes I do in fact die to them lol) on a bridge, and then get teleported about 1 mile away (hyperbole) and then have to run back to the supplies/car or whatever is very annoying. lol - Though the npcs do not seem to spawn either as much or at all when you play in a public lobby for the source vehicle in the ceo tower.
Time limits for quests, and getting to the last objective with about a minute left, shooting the actual NPC characters in the head or with a barrage of bullets only for them to get back up and kill me. - I can respect not wanting to make it easy but yea the amounts of times i pump an npc full of lead and they have gotten right back up is just irritating. xD
Pro tip on the getting raided part.. don’t be registered as an MC or CEO if you’re not actively resupplying or selling anything. They won’t raid you if you’re not registered. Your businesses will still make product as well, so no worries. If you’re not someone that pvp’s or uses ghost, then to minimize the amount of time your registered, resupply from the arcade.
CEO businesses still get raided- unless that's also a bug... I've experienced it.
True but ceo raid is so rare I’ve prob spent over 100 hours as a ceo and I’ve gotten the defend mission once but i literally won’t register as an mc until I’m in front of the buisness I wanna sell from lmao and I’ve STILL got a defend mission even when I was like 5 seconds away from entering the building
Ghillie Master put up a video awhile ago on Ghost Raids on Special Cargo and he wasn't even registered. And I was watching a livestream and reminded them to resign as CEO to prevent raids and what the hell happened? They were getting raided without a single phone call from their assistant and all of a sudden on their screen a message popped up saying something like "Product not defended" I'll look for the shirt they put out and link it
You still need to be MC/CEO to do heists and preps though... So as soon as you complete a prep or register to start a finale, while also having active businesses with product in them, you get raided.

For any loading screen stuck (PC only) or if you want a private public Lobby (even if you dont need it anymore, but I abued it before invite only got buffed) go to the resource monitor -> CPU -> Find GTA -> rightclick -> Suspend Process -> Wait 5-10 seconds (too long can kick you into single player) -> rightclick and resume it again. For others it appears that you left the lobby, but for you everyone else left the lobby and normally the stuck loading screen finally loads.
Tip: if you join an invite only session and become a VIP/MCP you can join a public session and will only let you join a session with a free boss space. You’ll join a public session as a boss 100% of the time
Not true. I used to try that but it was about 50/50 that I'd join as a CEO/MC. The other times I'd join a lobby and it'd give me a message that the CEO/MC/VIP was full and remove my status, but I don't even bother playing in public lobbies anymore.
