Hi thanks for that information could you suggest a fair amount of money to bring to shop with
Coming from out of town do you recommend renting a car or do a Uber?
Great video. I do have a question. When would you suggest shopping for fall clothes?
Hello, start shopping for fall and winter now.
@@AshleyOnDemand thanks!
Hey where’s the best places to stay in fashion district walking distance and on a budget?
Hey! Here are some hotels that’s near the fashion district fashiondistrict.org/stay/hotels
Hi there, any Hampton Inn or holiday Inn in the area
Does my boutique have to be registered to get a sellers license? I love your content btw! 😍
That I don't know. I registered my business and applied for my seller's permit at the same time. check the website for your state to see what they require.
ok Thank you love!

Would you recommend going with someone if you don’t know about the district?
Its really up to you. I always go alone but you can definitely bring someone with you
When it comes to manufacturers, are there many of them at Fashion District like there are vendors? Im starting my fashion brand this year and planning a trip around March to go
I’m sure there are. But I don’t know of any. I just go there to buy. I’m want to get into manufacturing my own clothing. Currently looking for a vendor to do that
Thank you for so much great information. I am confused about the sellers permit. I live in Arkansas, and I am going to sell online. I am going to buy my wholesale merchandise from California. Do I need my sellers permit from where I live or from California.
Glad it was helpful! You need a sellers permit from where you live.
@AshleyOnDemand I was confused because I read this: Can I Use My Resale Certificate Out of State?
Most other states will honor your resale certificate for items and goods you purchase for your inventory. However, there are currently ten states that do not, including California, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, and Alabama.
So, if you order goods from those states and want tax-exempt status, you would need to obtain a resale certificate in those states. In some cases, this can also involve obtaining a seller’s certificate or sales and use tax certificate in those states as well.
You don’t need a sellers permit from California to buy from the fashion district. Before I moved to California my sellers permit was from Wisconsin and I was never turned away. I only got a California sellers permit because some of the pop ups that was I doing required it. Most of the vendors I shop with still have my Wisconsin sellers permit info on file. The sellers permit is basically just allowing you to buy items tax free. Since technically California doesn’t allow out of state sellers permit a vendor could charge you sales tax on your purchase but I have never had to pay sales tax on my purchases from the fashion district. So you will still be able to purchase with your out of state sellers permit.
@@AshleyOnDemand Thank you so much for helping me.
