Holy shit this is a banger not only did it fix this issue but it now doesn't limit the replay to only apps GeForce recognizes, so I can get clips from moments in discord or in games like lethal company yo this is huge thank you so much bro
@@CirCaid either you gpu isn't supported, drivers need to be reinstalled, run a games in fullscreen, turn off and on the overlay, use the nvidia app (not geforce experience), update your pc.
did this, it works but doesnt keep it forever. my clips revert back to having black bars whenever i switch games and whenever i turn my pc on for the first time of the day its reverted back to having black bars. any fixes? cuz im not going into the privacy everytime i switch games or turn on my pc.
this worked for me just fine but now it doesnt for some reason. i did everything as u and i mean it worked my clips were stretched but after an hour or so they turned normal again

I've tried every combo of everything I've seen and it still doesn't work for me. Privacy control, fullscreen, in-game resolution, yet still comes out as 4:3 unstretched in the saved video. I can just manually stretch them afterwards but It'd be certainly easier if it could just work in the first place.
If you have gsync, Dsr factors, Sharpening turned on in the GeForce control panel try turning them off maybe that can help. Also check the custom resolutions tab and make sure your native resolution is not set to the resolution (with extra brackets) but the resolution with nothing next to it... If this makes no sense and don't see two versions of your resolutions not including customs one then ignore it. (All in the nvidia control panel )

did NOT work with 1440 x 1050 i didnt have the privacy setting thing and i updated
when i enabmle the privacy control it doesnt let me turn instant replay back on
