I had a friend in Cologne. He was politically active, but only locally, i.e. within Cologne. One day, Gerhard Schröder took part in the Cologne mayoral election campaign and the boy was unintentionally noticed. He campaigned for equal rights for German-Turks in Germany. Shortly thereafter, a caravan was parked in front of his front door.

Meanwhile Erdogan would not participate in a war personally, he would not even do a manual job, so do Merkel. So do rich people in the two countries. So yeah, let's face reality all together. When emotions grow enough, there would probably be punches, then a relief, then Erdogan and Merkel would benefit the relief. How do you see otherwise ?!

The true German colours are utterly exposed here. Why does the ancestral backgrounds and/or political affiliations of fellow citizens matter to maintain viable social cohesion, in a country that often brags about its democratic maturity?

German made democracy for his country for his people who shares similar understanding and culture. Turks coming from dictatorial country and have different culture. Turks take advantage of German democracy and blame Germans being unwelcomed. Why Germans, who are considered very civilized people should treat uninvited culture cheerfully? If this will continue the word "modest" will sound like offensive.

when you are in the west countries....hijab is no longer to represent of one's identity but a symbol of humiliiating ,women oppresion/misoginy...unequal right for women
respect europe by removing ur hijab same thing like foreigner women in arab land they should wear the hijab n veil to show respect to ur arab values n islam

What? No hijab, nowhere. How can it be humiliation in the West and an arab value (wtf) in the east? It's humiliation everywhere. If you send 1 million girls to a new planet and let them grow up without someone telling them about Christianity and Islam, not even one will come up with the disgusting concept of hijab. They will all dress normally
