Like we did last week we beat dons and umps
IKR THE UMPS WHERE SO ANNOYING THEY KEPT ON PAYING FREE KICKS FOR NO REASON AND GIVING AWAYS 50S
I really thought the umpiring had improved this year but the improvement only lasted until Round 2. The only word to describe the umpiring standard is 'incompetent'. There are four of the clowns out there now but all that has done is to make a fairly ordinary situation four times as bad.

putting the collingwood bias aside that was some of the worst umpiring i've ever seen. as said by a lot of people who aren't even collingwood fans too.

Great to see another fabulous from behind win for the Pies, but at some stage they have to stop allowing themselves to be put in those positions. I know they have important players out but old Magpie hearts are under stress with all the close finishes... :) Pacemaker sales are through the roof at Collingwood... :)

Murphy gets taken high and manages to mark it still. No free, no mark play on. Then gets take off the ground (no blood rule called) refs don't let collingwood make a sub. Unprofessional. The calls don't matter, but stopping the play for an injury is crucial to the integrity of the game. Restore our trust in the umps next week please!

I love how the Adelaide Crows lead the game for more than 100 minutes, whilst Collingwood only got ahead for 30 sec at the most important time of the whole game. Also, the umpires were likely paid $50 each for playing against the Magpies. Haha

How the Murphy mark wasn’t paid a free kick was beyond me. Honestly one of the worst calls.
Sad thing was, the umpire put his whistle to his mouth and didn't pay the front-on contact. But, we got the four points in the end

I'll say one thing about this game. I noticed a lot of the time there were no players in our F50. It's a terrible look if your at the game.
I believe at least 3 forwards should stay in the forward 50.
Ginnivan needs to get possesions closer to goal, not around the wing or half forward flank.
Same with Elliott & Hill.
They're more dangerous closer to goal.
Two weeks in a row Johnson has got a no call in the last quarter. Questions need to be asked of these hopeless umpires...

As good as the win was we need to find a way to make sure we don’t have to come back from 3-4 goals down at 4qtr time, not taking our limited chances when they come killed us especially Elliot Ginnivan and hill kicking 0 goals between them is just not acceptable and there are other players in the 2s kicking goals that should be considered rather than 3 players who should kick 3-6 goals between them every game.
All our talls are injured and we're very undersized. Hard for small/mid sized forwards to have a big impact with the height. This is very good for collingwood when we get them back
I thought Brisbane taught the rest of the AFL teams how to beat them…
Brisbane only won dew to the copious amounts of free kicks they had because we had no ruck. if it was played in Melbourne and the game wasn't decided on free kicks then I think the pies would've absolutely annihilated the lions. and they will do it at marvel regardless because Brisbane seems to forget how to play footy.

Number 19 of the Lime team is proof that the current trend with four of them on the field to make decisions that affect the game are failures. It is either a mark or high contact and the duty of care was thrown out with a player suffering blood rule exiting the game not taken into consideration. Were the four lime's making decisions to affect the bets placed on the game or something more sinister. Incompetent and they are controlling the winning and losing of a game in the end.

Tried to and still failed.
We've got real problems.
I was at the game and after what I witnessed we are far from premiership favourites.
We got major problems with our midfield, Defence and F50 structure.
Collingwood played so loosely and didn't man up much.
Melbourne are now clear flag favourites, no question about it.
I personally think we’re not the best side in the comp right now however you have to understand that 6 of our best 22 are out and the main issue today was our small forwards namely Elliot hill and Ginnivan looking slow and unlively and some of the times it looked like Elliot didn’t want to be out there I think the kids were great smashing the clearances and although not at the best efficiency still got the job done hopefully cox comes back soon and with pendles coming back next week we are primed for a better game next week.
Good comments Gazman but let's remember that they were coming off a five day break and there were six certain starters missing, against a team with no injuries and the most eyed crowd in the business. And if anyone thinks the umpiring was competent they are seeing something I can't. Even Craig McRae commented on the Murphy incident and he never comments about the useless clowns.
Collingwood has had to reshuffle the team due to the outs, specifically Cox and Cameron in the ruck
Normally one rucks, the other goes forward to bring the ball down to the smalls
I think when they are back (and Howe, McStay), the structure should return.
The more games we can win until they are back is what matters at the moment to help the second half of the of season

I saw a Coll player take a difficult mark but then I saw the ball given to an adelaide playet...........something terribly wrong there.
Will Kelly looked lost on the Wing. Why would Craig have Kelly on a Wing? I'd have had him in the goalsquare.

I agree, he’s the son of Craig Kelly who is a high up in the Collingwood club. So instead of giving it to someone more deserving like roscoe he got it. He probably won’t play in afew weeks when we get some our key players back tho

At least 6-8 Collingwood players are taking some performance enhancing drugs. There are similarities between these guys and 2012 Essendon players. The way they run in the fourth quarter just don’t add up.
