I had an animal get in my garage, behind a stack of boxes. I wasn’t sure what it was, but thought it was an opposing or skink. I stuck a broom handle down behind the boxes to shoo him out the garage door. Ha! That thing let out a long snarly growl that sounded like a freakin mountain lion! I told it ‘make yourself at home, the dog food is over here, water is outside.’ I went in the house and watched. It was a raccoon. I had no idea they sounded like that!

yall need to get a live stock protection dog... or live stock guarding dog they are 1 in the same kind of dog... like a great pyrenees dog, or say central asian shepherd dog anatolian shepherd dog, or the italian maremmano sheepdog.. just a thought, they will bond to you and all your critters and never have to worry about anything going after them, all these dogs will bond to chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, cattle, you have it they bond to it and will protect it with their life and steve want have to stay up all night looking out for things.. just a thought.

As a kid, I had one chase me all the way around my grandmothers house while I was screaming for them to let me into the house 🤣 I don't think I ever saw that rooster again after that! Lol -Dorthie
We did have one that took 3 dirt naps and 5 minutes later was up and at'em again! I recommend not using a shovel...
