@@robbo6460 I just picked up a 2000 trooper last weekend and am hoping to sell my 99 passport (rodeo). Unfortunately I wasn't smart and don't have a scan tool. Gentleman told me 1 code for an 02 see sensor. Turns out there's both cats out, two evap codes ( I switched all the vacuum lines so hopefully I'm okay and don't have to drop tank) and thermostat code. It runs and drives great
@@corywilliamsmith I'd worry about the thermostat 1st. EVAP codes are bullshit but I've got a smoke machine so I fix them when I get bored. I just fixed a fuel tank pressure sensor on my 2002 Trooper that was popping up every 2 drive cycles. Good luck with yours. If you need anything just hit me up
Look under the vehicle and up at the bottom of the radiator. If you have 2 smaller lines coming off the bottom and heading back towards the bell housing then you do. If not then you don't.
@@robbo6460 gotcha! Very easy. Changed the thermostat and day later saw that dreaded milky substance in the coolant but I think it's actually stop leak and not oil. I never added stop leak but the radiator is OLD and I now see a trans light when starting it but then it goes off. Love the Rodeo!
Doing a lot of work to my Trooper and I will be watching all your videos lol. Appreciate you taking the time to do these. I’m subbed 😉
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. KTC Garage has a few good videos too.
Robb, never stop cussing in your videos. I fucking love it. Makes them so real.
That New York pronunciation of "Fuckin Florida," just makes me giggle. Robb's a great guy, I have had the pleasure of meeting him.
"You walk outside and spontaneously combust..."
Hehehehe
Lol you know what I'm talking about. Fuck bro it's still hot as balls in October lol. I'm moving to Alaska.
@@robbo6460 that cold snap was amazing, but the summer just DID NOT want to give up.
My dad used a condenser from an old GE window unit as a transmission cooler.
This was on a 63 Impala. It worked great.
Yep that would be fine. It just needs to exchange heat and not leak. Lol
I can see Shrek every day if I come home via Palm Bay and Emerson instead of Malabar.
Stop by and say hello bro. Another Zu guy and I became friends. He lives here also.
@@robbo6460 you know you're talking to your favorite Colorado driving dork, right? Lol
@@der_pinguin44 how many names do you have?
@@robbo6460 like my cars, I lost count at 17
Nice definitely saving this one. My "out" hose is leaking it seems, unless it's the flange it goes into.
I wish I had done both of my Trooper's sooner.

I bought a 679.
Where'd you get the snorkel!?
eBay
Did you add more ATF to compensate for the cooler?
Yes brother. I went through the top off procedure again. It was low so I'm glad I did
Does my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo six-cylinder only have a radiator or does it have a transmission cooler as well?
