      @kaiden_aka_forevrr there is and the reason is is because drunks are more relaxed, if you let your body go completely limp before the crash and keep it limp during the crash your less likely to get serious injurys, but the reason people get hurt is because they tense up and get stiff(bracing for impact) which causes more injuries,

      That‘s because in Germany they have proper education and driving schools, and one have to go to a real test which consists of three independent tests. If only one is failed, then the person has to go again. After failing several times, it’s getting even better, because this person has to go to a Psychologist, and it could happen that this person has driving prohibition. And if someone has made driving licence in a car with automatic gearbox, this one is not allowed to drive a car with manual gearbox.

      So I'm going to disagree with you Norm. People won't slow down because traffic lights all around the US are not properly timed, and we are not trained to drive the speed limit even if they are. So nobody understands the light cycles and everybody's tired of hitting all red lights even for the shortest commute to the Walmart or Lowes-Depot down the street. We make it worse on ourselves, because so many of us drive either too slow or too fast to make all the greens anyway...and that prevents the people behind us from making the greens. And so everybody gets impatient. None of this is necessary. But we simply refuse to vote people into office who would make it a point to seek out and implement common sense automation for our roads.

    12:00 - That was not the truck rear-ending a car in the same lane; that was a car trying to get ahead of the truck and push its way into the express lane before the barrier began. You can see that the truck is already in the lane in the few seconds before the crash, and the first you see of the car, it is beside the truck, not in front of it, and the collision between them is on their sides, not bumper to bumper. That accident is the fault of the car, not the truck.

      In my country, protected turning lane is standard, I never came across intersection that allowed turning while another side is green, people will misjudged and hell will break loose. I was so scared when I need to do left turn while another side is green, never have to do that here, you just wait for the turning phase and another side is completely stopped. I feel like I had to scroll too far down to find this comment, but I came to say the exact same thing. When the caption said the dump truck rear ended the car, my first thought was "how did the car end up on the far side of the dump truck?" At first I thought maybe the dump truck switched lanes, but as soon as the rear end of it appears, it's clear that it's in the same lane for the duration of the crash, until it gets pushed into the center lane.
      All because one person couldn't just go past the exit and loop around, they caused a crash involving four vehicles that I could count. SMH, some people.

    • @mickeywhite2563
      @mickeywhite2563 3 месяца назад +57

      I'm pretty sure it didn't. I think it was yellow, but with a darker yellow, so it looked red on the outsides. But if you look at the red light to the left, it is very red, while the "red" in front of the camera has an orange center.
      Even I'd it was straight to red, there's no reason for the other to be going as they did right then, anyway. I hope he isn't found at fault. He did everything as anyone else would.

    • @mickeywhite2563
      @mickeywhite2563 3 месяца назад +5

      Adding in, that I've taken a screenshot of the yellow light and it matches another light to the right that would also be yellow, and that the red cross traffic lights are also the same hues as the break lights in the video. So I am 99% sure(I'm never 100%) that the lulight is just redish through the lense of the camera and it was really yellow. Which doubles my certainty that the oncoming car was in the wrong.

      It was never red. It was a yellow light. Look at the right and left lights, they are all the exact same type of light set up. Red like is on the top, what everyone is forgetting too is every single light and direction of travel has a "yield on green(solid green)" which makes camera car at fault because they didn't have the right of way. It is/was an unprotected left turn. Oncoming/Cross traffic has the green light to go straight.

      As an example, in Las Vegas, there was an intersection near my home growing up that my father did his best to avoid. It took 10 years, but the city finally researched the intersection and changed the light timings. Dramatic 65% decrease in wrecks. Seems they started once the surrounding community started a class action law suite for negligence.
