We aimed our talking telescope at the first quarter moon when this famous canyon lit up. The Lunar "X" is visible along the terminator (the boundary between night an day) near the lower half of the Moon.
You can also see the lunar "V" further up the terminator. Although it is not surrounded by shadow like the "X", it is still visible!

Just so you know, I didn't learn about these until after recording this video! A friend on Instagram pointed them out after I uploaded it. Next time we visit these canyons, I'll increase the magnification so we can really see what's going on down there.
