Thanks mam for this advance topic 💫 but still I'm trouble with I wish + past subjunctive or past modals. 1) I wish i spoke English fluently. 2) I wish i could speak English fluently. Now here i at least understand that we use could when we aren't able to do something or we don't have that particular ability to perform that perticular action but mam we'll use could when at least we have that ability but sitting on the chair I'm wishing for it so what should i use? And also, 3) I wish i didn't eat chocolates like this. 4) I wish i wouldn't eat chocolates like. I know we don't use would with subject of the sentence or who is speaking with present longing but then can we use second form of verb with second person? Like "I wish didn't go there" here I'm not upset with that person's habit this is one time action of that person so here am i right? 🙏
