Hi...I am a 42 year old doctor and a mother of two. Though I already had my hands full with family and full time job, lately I was feeling that I wasn't accomplishing anything for myself. So I got myself registered for a upgrading exam and that brought me to your video..how I can manage everything in my day.
I would definitely follow two tactics...first physically keep away my phone while I am studying as that really disturbs me a lot and planning a highlight for my day so that even if I do only that thing ..I can go to sleep satisfied and wake up motivated.
    Thanks again for this video.

I loved all the sections. But the last one, where you said to get disconnected is the most wonderful. This phase disconnects with works and connects you with your self. An introspection phase. Thank you ankita. Keep smiling😊

Oh My God ! Your research on this topic is incredibly Impressive & On the dot ! It reflects so much positivity ❤❤
To let you know Ankita , I am a medical student & I struggle with my habit of procrastination and cannot keep myself going until I feel pressurized by the exams / submissions / clinical work & also, the obvious distractions that you talked about come in my way a lot ! So I would definitely take away your tips of planning the next day before going to bed and the elimination of distractions.
This video of yours worked as a gentle & important reminder to improvise ourselves just by making a few changes in our habits & staying committed to them . Thank you very much for this one . Lots of Love from Gujarat & keep going 💖💖

Hi Ankita! This video was a godsend. These past few months have been so mentally exhausting that my productivity levels had hit a terrible low as I was not feeling well and everything felt so disorganized. I loved every one of the tactics that you suggested. This video had so much of positive energy that it really calmed me down. I will try and follow all these suggestions. Although, I loved setting a daily highlight every night, as a great suggestion and I am going to practice it. Thank you so much for this video! More power to you! ❤️

    1. Keep my phone away while working to avoid distractions.

This video came at the perfect time! I will be applying specifically 1. Making daily highlight and 2. Having end of the day ritual and disconnecting. As a healthcare professional, it's really difficult to manage time and not to bring your work to home. So these 2 tactics will be really helpful.

    Really helpful video!
Time Blocking has helped me to draw the line between working from home and my personal time for other works , I allocate time for cooking & cleaning etc. This way I feel better organized and focused. I take one task at a time and try to complete till I am done with the other works also which are associated with the task. For example,
if I have alloted time for cooking, I would clean the utensils simultaneously so that all the kitchen related work gets completed during the same blocked time. Only then I move to another task. This makes me more focused.

It is amazing to see you emanate so much positivity . I have been on a quest to follow an organised lifestyle but in vain. From henceforth I will mark the highlight of the next day before I go to sleep . I also feel drained when i sit to study . I will definetly try and implement the high-energy timings to do my work instead of loitering around .

Everybody organizes their home, kitchen, wardrobe and everything, but our life and each day of life is such a mess🙆 which needs to be taken care of. Thank you for taking up this topic. Thank you for doing this video. I've loved watching your videos. Three key takeway points that personally I can adpot are: have a physical work place that is distinct, do an activity that signals the end of the workday, and most importantly, get a planner to plan the days much more effectively. Once again, thank you for this lovely video!
PS: Daily highlights and the matrix was very useful. I haven't thought about tasks in these categories.

Even when I am not needed in that timezone, I keep checking mails in my laptop and do some work which otherwise I might have done after going to office the next day, or logging in the next day. this has really become a bad habit and has changed my evening routine. I am definitely going to try disconnecting from work ritual by taking inputs from your video and make a physical ritual so that over the time , my brain is accustomed to that. As soon as your video notification comes the very first thing I do is to like the video first and then watch it. Your words are so sound and your way of talking is itself so soothing that it makes me realizes all the important things (which had slipped off my mind) which I had learnt from your earlier videos. The biggest reason of watching you is that you have become my inspiration and I love you as a person. I so want to become like u which I know that one day I'll become in shaa Allah.
Coming to the things which I liked about you is the thing again which I had learnt from your previous videos that is 1) Since we are energized and fresh in mornings so finish all those tasks which requires brains in morning itself 2) Utilize the time before sleeping in planning your next day and read something helpful rather using the phone
I'd like to tell you that I have even started following this in my routine and would strive to make my day more productive as that of yours :)
    May Allah bless you.
    Love,
    Sharmeen

I love this! This couldn't have come in at a better time! I have been working from home since March and even though I thought I will love it, being in the writing field and not being keen on human interactions much, however, the days do tend to blend together after the initial euphoria melts away! Recently my workforce went100% remote permanently, which means I will be home a lot! I am still trying to work out a routine which sticks to me and will be love to have a 5am morning routine at some point. I work best in the morning hours and like to get the most of the writing done before the world wakes up. I love your videos so much! Keep doing what you are doing!

This was a very useful video. I have read about the Eisenhower matrix during my MBA and I completely agree with you that dividing your tasks with respect to urgency and importance helps a lot in time management and makes it easier to prioritise your tasks which helps in better productivity. I am trying to follow this principle and will be continuing it until perfection. Another insight I would like to follow is end of the work ritual. That truly is very helpful in disconnecting and calming yourself down after a hectic day. Thank you so much for your insightful suggestions.

Hi Ankita, thanks for creating such an extremely helpful video. I’m gonna try and implement the third point- get rid of distractions. I really wana pull myself out of the dark infinity loop of internet and by doing this, i shall be able to achieve at least one milestone.

I really liked your idea of planning your next day work a night before so that unnecessary time is not wasted in thinking which work to do first, and even m a pen and paper person

Thankyou so much for such an informative video.
Being a student, my biggest bump to productivity is my phone.
Keeping off the device in some other room, is what I am planning to do.
Loads of love to you ❤️

Amongst all of the tactics suggested by you, the one that has helped me be constructive was identifying my peak productive hours, along with time blocking. In another story of yours, the 'Pomodoro technique' suggested by you also really helped, cited as time blocking in this video.
It's very soothing to listen to you and watch your videos! Keep up with your positivity 😇🤗

Hi Ankita, love your videos! I really liked the marking end of work day ritual and disconnecting from all work devices. Looking forward to try it from Monday!

    Love it totally !! 🥰
I am not going to take one but two...😊😊😊being a pen and paper person myself, I do write a do-it list and come back to it throughout the day. Of lately, I have this feeling of not doing enough even with my planner and think this unique idea of a "daily highlight" will be awesome. Going to try it too soon. Excited 😃
Also, these days I can't seem to let go of my work totally after I close my laptop coz I keep going back to it. So this idea of a physical ritual after I declare "done for the day" will be something worth trying .
Keep doing wonderful videos like this..More power to you 💛

Hello..I love your videos and appreciate you doing more of the lifestyle ones. I want to incorporate 2 of the tactics - 1 would be to move away from distraction by keeping the mobile away. And the 2nd is to wind up the work time by taking up a relaxing activity. Thank you for the tips and hope to see more of such videos.

Thank you being a positive inspiration. From your tips i think i will be implenting the end of work routine as being a doctor and coming back home your mind continues to think about patients and alternate ways to do your best...so need to be present at home mentally and relax .thank you n god bless u

This is such a special video and more than the video your voice is soothing. The best advise the thing about how to disconnect it’s so difficult to understand the difference. How calmly you made us all realise these points. ❤️😍more power to you 🌺

Ankita I just loved the introduction to this video. Yes, every day may not be super productive but every day should be satisfying! I’d really love to try the “disconnect “ part. I’m a doctor and doing my post doctoral so every night I’d be in bed with my books or laptop or thesis work, so it’s like one work day merging into another. A physical disconnect would really help I believe! Thank you for this video!

Beautiful Video. The tactic I loved and absolutely resonate with is disconnecting. I am going to work on that & I know for a fact that it will calm me down & also add to my productivity levels the next day when I get back to work. Such a valuable input. Much love to you :)

Love from Ranchi.Always love to hear. Basically organized days keep me less stressed and more positive towards my work and career. I will definitely try to list the things at night rather then in morning so that everything is well organized and beautiful.I do things similar to your tactics.Work on one place only.Keep my work away from other things.Keep Slaying ♥️💫

    hi ankita
You have such a good soul.It just reflects as you speak n in ur every gesture. collectively all the sections are very suggestive n good.for me the recognition of my peak hour n to give distractions away are the two suggestions most important and i will try it.

You have no idea how much this will help every one. Thank you for making this video. It has certainly intrigued my intellectual self.
Personally for me the time blocking factor was a real help. As a mother to a toddler I sieve in my work (I am an Academician) as per my toddlers sleep schedule. The challenge for me is that i feel so drained by all the running around at home that when my child is asleep I tend to sleep with him 😴.. Therefore time blocking will be of great help. Once again thank you for making this video.

I've been in such a laggard mode in a while now that work has suffered and I've been down and out. This came as a huge help. Very practical points that look like they'll actually work. Honestly, I was so bored of other videos that talked of waking up early and making your coffee and working out (good for those who benefit from them) but this is what I actually needed - Identifying productive time, scheduling the night before (I tried and it makes a HUGE difference). Thank you for this ❤ Will look forward to more such videos.
