The cliffs are amazing ! The waterfall or run off is so beautiful to watch. The colors at 8:22 are nice ! The waterfall coming off the cliff is also beautiful. I thought all your finds were nice finds :) Thanks for taking us along !
Thank you! I appreciate that, I wasn't even going to post this video, but I love the scenery. Some of my finds were alright. So I was confident in sharing this adventure with you guys. Thanks for watching. I have an eye popper of a vid coming soon. Stay tuned for this one. I promise it will blow your mind!
Wow man, that place you have over there is gorgeous, this world is special, thanks gor sharing all it's beauty there, from the landscape, to the rocks, the waves and also the creek flowing and tiny waterfalls, so special! Excellent finds today, love all the colors, so bright and bold, nice seam agate! Man that tree fell there, how wild is that. Awesome video brother, so inspiring, needed that with the day I'm having. Super sick on top of plumbing backing up. Taking a nice break in between frustrating moments where snaking the lines out is running into issues along the way.
In 1973, a friend and I from one of New England's southern states, were in N.S. following the road from Yarmouth, along the Bay of Fundy, stopping occasionally along the beach areas to see what stones were hidden beneath the water as it receded out of the Bay. Too many years ago to really remember, but I think I picked up jaspers, agates, a bloodstone (deep dark green with red splotches on the surface), and other interesting stones. I knew of Cape Blomindon because of an article in The Lapidary Journal, circa early 1970's, on the agates, jaspers, amethyst (at Blomindon), and perhaps other semi-precious stones to be found in the waters. In 1973, I don't recall any camping being allowed at Blomindon, as there would have been a symbol on my N.S. map. I did do some stone beachcombing as the tide receded there. Thanks for the photos of that area these days.
My sister found a really nice black and red flame seam agate at Blomindon when she was visiting, I cut it up into a couple slabs and ends and polished them up, she ended up letting me keep a small end piece of it for my collection.
Awesome. I'm going back, I only got to be at a small part of the Park. I've seen others get cool stuff out of their, with any luck i can find something too!
Very similar rhyolite material to that found at Hauser Geode Beds in California. The seam agates here are not as fortified as the ones Ive seen you find on that beach however.
So interesting 😊
Thanks

@@RAM-Outdoor-Adventures good luck
@@Ontario_Rockhound Thank you!
Most of what you're finding is red jasper. The soft salmon/white rock is gypsum and there's lots of it there.
Thank you.
