I wanted to share the story behind the EP - Over the past 6 months, I found myself constantly seeking approval from friends, family, and fans of my music. I felt as if I’d fallen into a hole of depression that would only get deeper by the day. It wasn’t until I let go of everything I thought mattered so much that I began to see the way out. ‘Journey to Ascendance’ is my story of finding my path through free self-expression and renewed gratitude for my life. I hope this EP helps you in some way 🖤

Because of you, I was reminded of this Tristam artist since his debut. Never heard of his recent 2021 album, it's a huge production quality! Thank you for that. ✨ (I'm used to listen to YULA since his debut in this name, before it was Subfer.)
I'm not a huge fan of this style of music, but I have to say this song made me a fan. I can feel the passion behind the lyrics, the beats tapped my heart and soul as well. It legit made me feel calm during these crazy times. Thank you Yula for sharing this and tapping a new fan & apprecator of your music!
I have come back from listening to YULA's whole EP and can now confidently say that he is a solid 6 for 6. One of Monstercat's best recent debuts for sure. Keep going strong my guy 🧡
We need Yula back!! The Journey to ascendance EP is so fire and Melodic! This song was if Mazare did Progressive house with ARMNHMR and it slaps hard in an amazing way! Yula is rocking the vocals and the drops are pretty lovely! This is crazy and at least one or two songs of Yula are in BO2024! Whole song, 9/10! Whole EP, 8/10, better than decent or just good, pretty great!😊😊 Yula needs to comeback to Monstercat!
