Just got my MicroFreak, building this patch is one of the first things I did. Props for the great video. One question though. I can't seem to get the output to my in-ear monitors from the headphone jack to sound nearly as fat as it sounds coming out of my laptop on this video. Is this due to the amp onboard the MicroFreak vs. my laptop, or differences between the headphone jack and line out onboard the MicroFreak, or am I just missing some other secret MicroFreak setting sauce?
👋 Shouldn't be any difference in sound between MF outputs. I did post-production audio mastering with Ozone VST, so it may apply some compression on it but shouldn't be drastically different I think 🤷🏽♂️You can also check my patch. Dropbox link within the description.
I didn't try Behringer Crave but from what I saw Crave has Pulse Width Modulation so mostly like yes it can do this kind of sound. Check this video ruclips.net/video/GU0PQTswBt8/видео.html
I tried doing this, and I missed something. I watched this tutorial atleast five times. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Edit: I needed to set Sustain...

Can a behringer crave do this? Or is there a pedal to pare with one that can do this?

i find it weird to call this a reese bass and you aren't the only one .... this ain't a kevin 'reese' saunderson bass ....
You need a second oscillator offset. Minifreak would be capable I would think.
*I had no idea Borat was into synths.*
😂Yes, I made it BIG in my village. All my wifes loves the sound

Cool, you figured it out! I've also added link to my MF Reese patch into the description if there anything else, so you can try it. Cheers!
All good but this is not a Reese bass
lol OF COURSE its some russian dude haha
Haha I use my russ pronunciation to add some harsh touch to the story, you know like amplifier
