    You missed also the Australian Stinging Tree which is covered in fine silicon hairs on every part, including the fruit. Brushing up against the tree results in excruciating pain so intense it can result in heart attacks or suicide. Apparently the tree sheds its hairs into the surrounding air which can be inhaled if an animal or human even walks in the VICINITY of the plant, which in addition to the pain sounds like it could precipitate silicosis. Beautiful but deadly Northern Australia!

    You missed the coconut tree. Once upon a time, a person in my neighbourhood had died due to being accidentally struck by a coconut falling from a tall tree.

    • @Someone-zx7xd
      @Someone-zx7xd 3 года назад +28

      @Jacob Tara Dude, if you are working on the field nearby and suddenly a coconut is brought upon by wind and hits your head, how won't it be dangerous? By your statement, it means that no tree is dangerous at all. If you stay far away, no tree mentioned in this video is dangerous either. It is same for the coconut tree. The last tree shown in the video also functions in a similar way to a coconut tree. By the way, some of the trees shown in the video are not dangerous at all. At least, a coconut tree is more dangerous than some of the trees mentioned in the video.

The fact that the sap can blister your skin in seconds, even when diluted in rain drops is mind boggling! Nothing on that tree is safe. Even burning it can cause blistering and respiratory failure from the toxic smoke!

    Can't believe he left out the sagintra or "ghoul tree" of Arizona and New Mexico. It can sense animal life passing under it and will drop a branch or several branches to the ground by chemically dislodging the joints where the branches are attached to the trunk. Chances are fairly good the great weight of the extremely dense wood will hit and crush the animal, which the tree then "digests" by sending up roots it has waiting just below the surface of the ground. It's very gruesome to run across this in the woods, as the roots quickly grow into the animal and basically make it into a sponge as the roots digest and consume the nutrients.

    I am from India. Two trees are locally seen near my areas.
    5:55 Murder tree - its outer covering is just similar to a Coconut Outer Covering ( texture and hardness) but yes if you want to commit suicide one struggle to break the outer shell and has to eat the Seed which is similar to an Avocado seed and if you eat it you will die for sure but no one will eat it accidentally 100% sure.
    7:45 Poison Nut tree - its not dangerous fruit. It's a lot bitter I had tasted it in my childhood. Its seed is also not poisonous. You can see the person in video collected them its for Oil making. Fruit is bitter but good smell also the Seed is Useful for Medicinal oil making ( external purpose ) complete wrong information about this one.

    For some reason, me and my friend were at school. There was this tree on the grass with benches around it, we were walking up to it and we saw this dark red liquid coming out of it, it hadn't been cut and soon enough more came out. Can someone explain to me what this tree is and what it was doing in a school?
