My husband and I used this song for our recessional song. We had a viking/boho/elven themed wedding. We handfasted and exchanged swords. Our guests felt like viking warriors and ready for battle as they exited from the wedding. This song is still epic! ❤

Just saw The Northman. I am now a Viking.
I'm sorry but I thought that movie was awful. shitty dialogue and way too long. plus they made vikings seem like they were these gross animals when really they were very clean and tidy compared to other cultures at the the time. if you want to see a much more accurate depiction of vikings watch "Vikings". it's not 100% historically accurate but much better than Northman. hell even "The Last Kingdom" is better

More over the buildings, the armours, the helmets( finally Vikings with an helmet and true iron armour, not like in the last Kingdom or in Vikings where they are clothed with quasi leather things and no helmets), the everyday life of a settlement of Danes, the Viking raidersin the land of the rus and slavs plundering the settlement , the berserker's ritual.... No no it's historically well done. Last Kingdom and Vikings are made by amateurs

The movie was an actual masterpiece. The dialogue sounded like an actual Norse saga and everything we saw was really historically accurate, from weapons and armors to buildings and rituals. Granted, somethings were made more dramatic like how they killed everyone on that village at the start and that scene of knattleikr as well. Overall i think the movie was a really refreshing experience from the current state of hollywood and a good representation of a norse saga, very violent, dark yet inspiring and heroic as well.
