How awesome. I know this is a tad late, but thanks for posting.
Great to see all these cars and drivers who were around when I first went to hill climbs. And impressive to note that as of 15 Aug 2021 the hill record is now a whole 3.5 seconds faster than in this video.
Great to see Roy Lane in his element. He took me up the hill in his Metro 6R4 in the 80s. What a blast.
Unless I'm mistaken, an episode of "Father Brown" was filmed here.
where are all those 'Skodas' now?? They were like little rockets!!!
I’ll see if the master copy original of this is in a bit better shape 😉

Yes like John Surtees an ex motor cycling World Champion in the sidecar of The Great Eric Oliver. The craziest of all motorsport.
