Rosé whenever does a cover gets a shout out from the original artist full of praises. when she does it it goes viral instantly and its soo good. Neck Deep gave her many shout out live on interviews for covering “December” and it went crazy viral. And so other main artists as well.
Hey. Thanks for the reaction. Hér voice brings so much emotion. She has a cover of the Only Exception by Paramore where she plays the guitar. I think you will enjoy it.
If you liked what you saw and heard, you must CHECK out her live performances on the Sea of Hope series. Also, her other singles, Gone, On The Ground, and Hard to Love.
It may be clear you're listening to one of THE great voices of our generation. Even when she is reading lyrics off of her phone, she always manages to give them all of the emotion and musicality each phrase calls for. That tone that she has is something that shines in her first auditions for YG. It appears she showed up with such skillful qualities from the start that she could only continue getting better and better. It's one of THE all time great voices in music. Hard to compare her to anyone else really. Several of the other people in the room are also music stars of Korea.

A group of celebrities come together to run a bar by the sea and perform for the locals as an escape from the stresses of their daily lives. It's in Pohang, a small city by Korean standards, and it's still a quaint and industrial town that's not hyper-modern like Seoul or Busan. It's full of hardworking people who are laborers.
Sorry to hear about the toxic fans. Unfortunately there are so many fake reactors out there. It’s refreshing to hear you speak your opinion. I myself am a huge Rosé fan. Of the four Blackpink girls she definitely has the deepest connection to the music and thats what draws me to her. You can see it in the way she portrays emotion in her covers. Check out all of her Sea of Hope performances if you get the chance. Hopefully you can enjoy the girls of Blackpink in peace. Especially Rosie!
This was the first episode of Sea Of Hope, where the cast met to get to know each other a bit. After this episode they moved to the beach. Sea of Hope is a "healing show" which combines three themes: sea, bar, and wish. The cast members open a bar on the sea side and offer to the customers various food, drinks and musical acts so they can escape their daily lives for a moment. They live together on the beach and have to plan and do everything themselves. Imagine Rose taking your order or serving you your cocktail and then going on "stage" grabbing her guitar, performing for you. It feels all very free flow and spontaneous. For example the Alicia Keys Cover she did with two of the other singers was born just out of the moment. That's why Rose had to pull up the lyrics while singing (since she didn't prepare for it). All Sea Of Hope covers are worth reacting to (and in my opinion even better than this first one, because of the beach setting).
Rose is releasing an album with 12 tracks on Dec 6th which she cowrote and coproduced all and the album name is called Rosie where she said that this whole album is about her past 4 yrs of life and to fans to feel much closer to her
John Mayer loved everything about the performance, tweeting out a link to the video with the message, "This is gorgeous @ygofficialblink #rosÉ." He liked it so much he sent her a Roxy Pink guitar, a PRS Silver Sky - a collaboration between John and high end guitar maker Paul Reed Smith. With a note from John included with the guitar read: "Rosé, I should be thanking you. (So Thank You). - John." Rosé plays guitar and piano... I think she is most proficient on the piano, and then guitar. She is interested in the drums
Whenever she has covered any song the original singers have appreciated it. She couldn't release many songs as she was in exclusive contact with her group label. Now that she has left the label for her solo career, she is releasing her full album (12 songs) on Dec 6. Paper Magazine reviews Rosé’s debut album "A capital-P pop album with shades of intimate Swiftian storytelling and cathartic, soaring hooks as she paints a narrative of a love gone wrong: missed red flags.." APT is the only happy song on her album.
Thank you for the reaction! It's amazing to see non-fans appreciating Rosé. She's my favorite kpop artist and also one of my favorites in general. I also love this cover despite never listening to the original song. I actually strongly dislike John Mayer for being misogynistic, racist, homophobic and a disrespectful boyfriend, but what Rosé did with this song is beautiful and I often find myself listening to her version. Sorry that some k-pop fans were mean to you. We really have some extreme people in the fandom and I know that they can ruin the vibe. Just try to ignore it, they're probably just some little kids anyway. What I hope is that you'll check out Rosé's first full solo album when it drops December 6th. It's called "rosie", which is her nickname that her friends and family call her. APT is on the album, but she already said that the rest of the album has another vibe and it's gonna be a very honest album about the last four years of her life and the hardships and toxicity she experienced in various fields of it. I'm super excited for it. I feel like you would also enjoy her two solo singles from 2021 called "On The Ground" and "Gone". Based on your reactions I've seen so far, you'll probably like Gone better, but that's just my prediction. Both songs are co-written by her and fully in English. What I also need to recommend is the kpop group (G)I-DLE, which I could talk about for hours. I already wrote too much about them under another video of yours, but what I'm gonna repeat is that they are basically the only Korean girl group who write, compose and produce their music by themselves and really stand behind everything they put out. They have one of the most diverse discographies I've ever heard, but it still feels cohevise and authentic. Would love to hear your opinion on basically everything they've ever released haha. In my last comment I recommended some newer, more rock inspired songs by them, but I'm not even sure if you read the other comment and if you really gonna like all of the songs I've named, so here's more suggestions: The singles "Lion" and "Oh My God" from their mini album "I trust" (2020) are also a good introduction. You can never go wrong with any (G)I-DLE song though. Also as someone who's in both fandoms I can say that Neverlands ((G)I-DLE fans) are usually nicer and less toxic than Blinks (Blackpink fans)
Rosé said that she wants to be the great artist who can deliver stories and emotions to an audiences through her music. And when she cover male’s artist, she usually gonna deliver it as woman’s perspective like this one. Especially when she changed the B* word into Jerks (cuz she sings as a perspective of woman to a man). On this show she appeared as a guest and sing a lot of songs 1. ROSÉ - Slow Dancing in A Burning Room (John Mayer)’s Cover 2. ROSÉ - The Only Exception (Paramore)’s Cover 3. ONEW & ROSÉ - Lucky (Jason Mraz & Colbre Caillet)’s Cover 4. ROSÉ - Read My Mind (The Killers)’s Cover 5. Lee Su-Hyun&ONEW&ROSÉ - If I Ain’t Got You (Alicia Keys)’s Cover ~> this one is ad-lib song which Su-Hyun always sings on many TV show but it’s first time for Rosé and no rehearsal before. ------ For her original solo song there are, 1. On The Ground 2. Gone 3. Hard To Love (1-2 M/V on BLACKPINK official channel but 3 is a B-side on BLACKPINK - BORNPINK album which there is no M/V and it’s explicit so find the lyrics clip for that for reaction) Enjoy your reaction
Oh, this is so nice, thank you! I absolutely loved your reaction! I got into K-pop pretty recently too and am mainly just a fan of Blackpink and the girls, so I know the K-pop fandoms can be intense with people saying things they’d never say face-to-face, so I’m sorry to hear people were being mean here. But honestly, as I got more into Blackpink, I found myself really loving their personalities as much as their music (they’re genuinely good people and so talented too) which is why I decided to stick around. So even if you stop reacting to them down the road, I hope you’ll keep supporting them! 😊 By the way, if you’re interested in continuing down the Rosé path, she has a couple of solo songs you might like "On the Ground" and "Gone" and she has a new album coming out on December 6th! Thanks again for sharing kindness and take care!
Please make sure to watch Récord's channel for a live performance of Rosé at Coachella Music Festival! This is one of the most iconic moments in Kpop history, and her legendary status is well-deserved. You should also check out her series of cover songs and dance videos, including "Hard to Love," "Someone You Loved," and "Until I Found You." Rosé can play the piano, guitar, and produce music, making her one of the most talented female singers out there with a golden voice.
The woman with the brown hair to Rosie's right is Lee Suhyun of the duo AKMU. The best female vocalist in the business. The closeup of the pretty woman at 7:04 is the actress Kim Go-eun, star of the biggest Korean film of 2024 the horror film 'Exhuma.' Sitting next to her is the actress Park Eu-bin, star of the international hit series 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'. These people are all A-listers.
Great reaction. You should react to her covers of Viva La Vida (I personally prefer her Pachinko TV series theme song over her studio version, more emotional), where the Coldplay members complimented her on it. Or Read My Mind cover. A lot of people love her "Only Exception" cover.
Gracias por seguir reaccionando a Rosé, tiene una voz muy especial, al igual que las otras chicas de Blackpink, espero que sigas reaccionando a ellas como grupo y es solitario, gracias 😊🙏
You are right, there are a small section of toxic fans in Kpop but most are welcoming. Don't let haters put you off, you will discover some incredibly talented artists even if you dopartlike a specific song.or particular genre of music.
Lee Suhyun, who is the female backup in this video, is another fantastic vocalist, capable of Mariah Carey-like whistle vocals on top of a generally pleasing tone. In this "Sea of Hope" series, she, Rosie, and the younger male (Onew) do a cover of Alicia Keyes' "If I Ain't Got You" that is really good. I suspect you may not like most of Suhyun's own songs (I really like her solo "Alien", but it's very poppy), but you would respect her talent. She and her brother form the group AKMU. "Sea of Hope" was a variety show where various celebrities worked and performed at a seaside resort in an effort to promote positivity during Covid. The guitarist in the Oasis cover, Loren, was different. He and Rosie have collaborated a few times, and he shows up as an actor in one of the Blackpink videos (Lovesick Girls).
If you want to see her play the guitar, she does a cover of The Only Exception, by Paramore. She also has a really beautiful run in that one. If you do react to that one. Do the one at the beach where she has an audience. It has more feel to it if you know what I mean.
The guitarist in the video, Zairo, is a singer-songwriter from the Korean band Audition. In this video, not only the performers but also the audience are very famous to Koreans, but it was the only person I saw for the first time. Fame is not everything, but the performance is very good, so I think it would be good to know more
I recommend a blackpink concert of Rosé in a yellow dress covering “You and I” and a Lewis Capaldi cover of “Someone You Loved” on a fans channel RÉCORD. Its fan recorded but it gives you a feeling of being there. ITS SO GOOD. And yes they always perform with their live band at their concerts aka “THEBANDSIX”.
John really like this cover, he gave Rosé a pink stratocaster after he saw this cover. If you want to see her play guitar please check out her cover of Paramore's "The only exception", or her (with Jisoo) cover of Bieber's "Love yourself". Just the two of them singing & Rosé on guitar.
And here she is using the guitar given by John Mayer -- recording another song cover via her phone without any effects at her apartment: ruclips.net/video/deHE9o4L8oo/видео.html
In the video where you received hate, I only told you to relax that Rosé could sing and play instruments. I know apt won't appeal to everyone and it's just a song for fun. Rosé is wonderful at singing covers and manages to give versions with her personal touch. Could you react to his cover of THe only exception please. Rosé is about to release her first full album called ROSIE with 12 songs co-written by her and she is also a co-producer. Rosé loves music and can play piano, acoustic and electric guitar. Greetings, I hope you make a video reacting to her album and her other songs and live performances on concerts please.
I also didn't know he😅, But He not the same guys who play in oasis. In oasis cover his name is LOREN he also a singer songwriter, you can check out Loren if interested in kinda rock music ❤
this is gonna be fun … you have other Rose songs from sea of hope, still do those, HOWEVER: blackpink also covers miguel’s Sure Thing live, right around their launch in 2016, and you get them all live ruclips.net/video/_7TMluHVx4Y/видео.htmlsi=iLP3yr8ofbcDih6X and, for a new artist .. here’s the next greatest talent in the genre (my opinion of course), XG. more about them if you like this, it’s a live show called first take, they are actually some of the best rappers and dancers, not this, its all voice .. XG winter without you (first take) ruclips.net/video/wecUlakWtko/видео.htmlsi=DTxaK5I0Lxgb3LR_ so much more from both groups .. but this should keep you interested! -enjoy!
If you want a Black Pink song that is more indie guitar like listen to Stay. Hints of country in it. It will probably be the one that fits your style the most from the group. I want to say Rose had a hand in writing it. It is different than their normal stuff. Also, look up them doing a Miguel cover of sure thing. Think Stay is more you but it’s a cool version.
Please keep reacting to kpop. Always more Rosé, but you will also find emotional wonderful performances in other artists. You would love Snooze by August D(Suga from BTS) with Woosung from The Rose (an amazing voice from a kpop rock band).
I love your videos and your positivity, and I would enjoy it if you reacted to Blackpink; "You never knew" and "Love to hate me" from "The Show, " an online concert that they put on.
I only like blackpink in kpop so i don't really like seeing reactors who only does kpop, i prefer diff genres or atleast only for blackpink. Haha But yeah. Rosie is super talented, her voice has that adele vibe where she can make u feel heartbroken w/o cause. Lol The girls/blackpink are 1000× better live, even more explosive and amazing than their high budget music videos, so i hope u'll check them out too.
John Mayer sent her his PRS Silver Sky after hearing her cover.
for real
@@user-xy1aw9nod7yup it's true she posted it on her IG

Could you react to his cover of THe only exception please.
Rosé is about to release her first full album called ROSIE with 12 songs co-written by her and she is also a co-producer.
Rosé loves music and can play piano, acoustic and electric guitar.
Greetings, I hope you make a video reacting to her album and her other songs and live performances on concerts please.
This is just a rehearsal. You need to watch " the only exception " from sea of hope where she plays guitar. 👍👍
Bro. These seaside cover shows. Read my mind, & her own song gone. Do the live version of the seaside ones
Please react to the only exception Rosé cover. Please.
You should watch Blackpink Stay video. Rosé is playing guitar in there too.
I also didn't know he😅, But He not the same guys who play in oasis. In oasis cover his name is LOREN he also a singer songwriter, you can check out Loren if interested in kinda rock music ❤
BP do a cover of Miguel's Sure Thing, which is pretty cool, and their own song Happiest Girl displays the groups vocal abilities
Can you read my mind by the Killers cover from Rosie on Sea of Hope is her best.
this is gonna be fun … you have other Rose songs from sea of hope, still do those, HOWEVER:
blackpink also covers miguel’s Sure Thing live, right around their launch in 2016, and you get them all live

and, for a new artist .. here’s
the next greatest talent in the genre (my opinion of course), XG.
more about them if you like this, it’s a live show called first take, they are actually some of the best rappers and dancers,
not this, its all voice ..
XG winter without you (first take)

so much more from both groups .. but this should keep you interested!
-enjoy!
The "Sure Thing" cover is what really sold me on Blackpink's talent and made me a fan.
You should hear her cover of Until I Found You
If you want to hear some K-pop with heavy guitars, I suggest Chase me by Dreamcatcher.
John Mayer gave her a guitar shortly after this video came out .......
React to rosé solo songs
- gone (mv)
- hard to love (lyrics)
- on the ground (mv)
Check out the cover of Lucky from the same show
Please keep reacting to kpop. Always more Rosé, but you will also find emotional wonderful performances in other artists. You would love Snooze by August D(Suga from BTS) with Woosung from The Rose (an amazing voice from a kpop rock band).
I love your videos and your positivity, and I would enjoy it if you reacted to Blackpink; "You never knew" and "Love to hate me" from "The Show, " an online concert that they put on.
react to her cover of “the only exception” by paramore and “read my mind” by the killers
i like your reaction videos not biased
please watch bp Coachella am dying for it
I only like blackpink in kpop so i don't really like seeing reactors who only does kpop, i prefer diff genres or atleast only for blackpink. Haha
But yeah. Rosie is super talented, her voice has that adele vibe where she can make u feel heartbroken w/o cause. Lol
The girls/blackpink are 1000× better live, even more explosive and amazing than their high budget music videos, so i hope u'll check them out too.
shhh!
react to rosé on the masked singer please
Can you react to her solo songs
not talk so much
Ooh I really like this!! Good find!! Your the best @walterooski
❤
