  • Join Hannah & Richard on an epic Halloween adventure in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Our first stop is Mount Tecumseh, one of the 48 four-thousand footers of New Hampshire. Hiking all 48 is a popular hiking challenge that we completed back in 2021. Unfortunately, our first time summiting this peak we had no views as it was completed socked in by clouds.
Mount Tecumseh is a great beginner friendly 4,000 footer to start with. We tried two routes up, from the North and from the East, and decided that Eastern route was much more enjoyable. The trail was better maintained and had multiple view points throughout. We counted over 1,000 stone steps on the trail...no seriously we counted!
Next our adventure was visiting Thornton Gore a Ghost town nearby. This town was a really fun addition to our day. It hosted multiple stone foundations and a very well maintained graveyard. There was also an amazing waterfall & swimming hole which would be great during the warmer months for a swim.
    Thanks for watching!

Colors were popping! Made it up in early October but everything we saw was pretty muted at the time. It's so beautiful...and so fleeting.

It was a really interesting foliage year. The trees around us got a really late start so at the beginning of peak season it was muted but by the end of the month everything was super vibrant.
