i think youre completely ignoring the part that says "+50% damage". youre saying itll be bad against lavahound, egiant, etc. but it literally reduces their health by 33% while its active. this card is going to be insane defensively even if it didn't spawn in goblins

Yeah, plus it’s 2 elixir, basically means you can play it care free and not get punished, def should be 3 elixir imo.

Where did you get 33% from?
@@Bestintheinternet +50% damage vulnerability means, for example, if it has 300 hp, 200 hp of damage will kill it. So it's like it has 33.33% less hp. This will be devastating to high HP cards.
Hey supercell, we don't need more tower troops disrupting eight or so years of well crafted interactions, you should've learned this from the duchess making half the cards in the game redundant.
Edit: it's a great idea in theory, but if they wanted to change such a core part of the game it's just far too late because all the cards are designed around the princess tower. evo-goblin barrel is a great example because against the duchess, even with the new nerf the decoy barrel would still be almost entirely useless. This would've been a great addition seven years ago but there's too much built upon the princess towers for now tower troops to be a good idea.
Yeah like it's the thing that baffles me the most, how do you introduce tower troops now when all of your 100+ cards are thought and balanced around the princess towers.
At this point this decisions seems like they are made up by a fan and not an actual professional team

it's not a great idea in theory nor in practice, it is just a big money-grab move from Supercell

Troops in it's radius take 50 PERCENT more damage. Safe to say this will be busted in every deck. That amount of potential on defense is unmatched. A giant will take 50% more damage and the night witch spawning the bats will get demolished and get turned into a goblin horde to DPS down the giant.
I’ll be the first guy to petition for a giant nerf. But this…? This is absolutely game breaking. If we thought this last meta was bad, this coming meta is going to make half the player base uninstall

Graveyard, Poison, Goblin spell. in that order.. it is 11 elixir but it'll work out

So I guess there will be new king for every type of troops, knight king for knights, archer queen for ranged units, builder king for machine electro units,.......
Boss once again perfectly predicted this was gonna be a king replacement honestly the game has changed so much it requires you to learn from scratch all over again
When the Goblin Queen’s bar is full it spawns troops, specifically those smaller goblins with goggles, as they didn’t get a card but where seen throughout the animation and seen in the bar icon.😅
Maybe they want indirect buff to canoner, as it will help to deal with spam

I think goblin curse is gonna replace poison in some miner deck 100%, because even if it's dealing less damage is 2 less elixir and if the speel works the miner will tank for the cursed goblins. So maybe miner will be meta again now with Duchess nerfed as well.
As you said, yeah the goblin spawn part doesn't really get any significant value against beatdown compared to swarmy decks, but that 50% damsge amplification is going to be absolutely insane on defense. Just imagine what an evolved wizard that does 1.5x damage, can't be spelled and the spawnint goblins can do. With 7 elixir you can probably counter most normal pushes in the game
If I'm understanding this correctly, then it would actually do quite well against beat down, as it would amplify your damage allowing you to take down a giant, or lava hound, or golem far quicker
I think this'll help bring Cannoneer into Meta again given smaller troops are its weakness yet are perfect for clean up for the new goblin spell.
The goblin curse and goblin queen are gonna be balancing nightmares. They will always be too strong or too weak in different matchups even with balancing changes, which at least the goblin curse will definitely need
It would be an interesting idea that king tower troops had something to do with the cards you play. Here some examples:
-king: royal cards slightly upgraded/ability of the king charged with them
-goblin queen: goblin cards slightly upgraded/ability of the queen charged with them
-supreme wizard: magical cards slightly upgraded/ability of the wizard charged with them

The 50% bonus damage from the spell could make it pretty useful for taking out a incoming push in support of your units, what sucks it it’s duration being pretty short
I have a weird feeling that we will gonna have a bad time in Clash Royal. Even worse (or at best as worse) than Phoenix and Monk release time...

If you use the goblin curse on evo skeletons, it's the end of the game. It's gonna summon infinite goblins
there are also 2 other goblin related cards that were leaked. a wall breaker / bomber Goblin and a goblin inside a mech with a rocket on its back. there also is a new tower troop comming.
at 1:28, the goblin bomber is seen along with the goblin tower
Most likely she will release a few baby goblins with slingshots, that deal more damage than the spear goblins but less than a dart goblin, based on the baby icon. Or just a few baby stab goblins, or both.
I bet when the bar fills she will activate instead of needing to lose crown tower or take damage

The tower is for the tower troops I’m assuming because the tower bar looks like the tower

Supercell can make goblin curse viable by making your troops when they die become goblin too, when they are under the spell area, This makes the spell more interesting and at the same time, adds a bit of strategy in the game

lets not forget that it has damage increment, I feel it will be really really good and you can take out value on the damage increase. I'm sure it can make that a princess can take out minions and lava pups in one hit

Imagen if the spell tern troups to goblin braller and not regulare goblin,or the more elixer the troup coste the stronger the spawned goblin is
I feel like it Can be used really well against tanks just like to défend a Giant push really more quickly with the 50% damage boost, i don't feel like it's Always gonna be good on swarms to turns them into gobelins, the major strengh of the card for me IS the damage boost.
i feel like even after she comes out id rather use someone reliable like the normal kingtower because ill use the less reliable dagger dutchess
if someone had bomber and wall breakers in the deck, the new goblin will replace both of them and allow you to put another card in the deck

I wonder if you and your opponent place the gb curse on the same tile and let’s say both of yall place a scarmy in the middle right, if one skeleton dies it turns into a goblin but if that goblin dies will it turn into a goblin again but for the other player, if you don’t get it just think about the mother witch, if a already turned pig is coming towards you and you place a mother witch will the pig die or turn into your pig
I feel like the spell will have the same position as cannon cart right now: not a bad card, but that can’t be paired with any deck

How dose the amplifier thing work. If it makes units do 50% more dmg then that has to be very op for defense no? Not for the goblins just for the dmg boost.

Bro I think it’s tower skins. I know it’s a reach but it’s so over due, we already have an insane amount of goblin cards, and it looked like they were shooting at the same speed the princess and king towers do. I’m so hoping I’m correct

2-3elixir legendary spell that lasts 3 seconds 3 radius no tower damage no troop dmg transports all troops that step into it to their mirrored side of the arena personally would want this in the game over void and goblin curse together

Goblin curse: The royal ghost of 2024 (royal ghost had unnecessary splash damage just like goblin curse has unnecessary damage amplification)
It's to make sure you kill the stuff in the radius instead of it being wasted
I think people are misreading this, due to the damage amplification, it's quite like rage
