Eric you should try to make homemade batting gloves 😊😊😊😊
Jesus Loves You! Romans 10:9!
make homemade batting gloves and see how durable they are. PLEASE
I would have drilled the bat out and shoved a piece of rebar in with some silicone.
Eric and concerete lol
Time for homemade nut cups with Eric’s made with concrete
😂
Just needs half a walnut shell
@@RobMonroe97💀
Best idea yet
And just like his concrete bat it will shatter upon impact 🤣
Eric buying QuikCrete in every one of these is hilarious man, love the Home Depot parts😂
At this point he shouldn't need to buy anymore for future episodes
Jesus Loves You! Romans 10:9!
"I'm not even gonna ask-" I guess they're the usuals there lmao
Let’s go mets
there’s no way eric thought to put rough concrete around a bat and swing it around a bunch of expensive equipment 😂
I thought he was going to hollow it out and put the concrete inside which would've been the smarter option but it's Eric after all 😭
He might be the dumbest Asian in the world.
Jesus Loves You! Romans 10:9!
@@gradymilholen9979first of all I know this is a bot but that is NOT Roman’s 10:9
@@gradymilholen9979attention bot 😒
I love how Tosh did all the measurements, math, different coatings and all that. Then Eric’s half ass concrete bat out performed it
Jesus Loves You! Romans 10:9!
Strength man, strength
His half ass concrete bat didn't outperform Tosh. He got one swing out of it before it became a dirty version of the regular bat.
@@ringosk1no that was excess concrete
@@bumcbumgorgita4148all the concrete broke off the only thing that was left on the bat was the residue u dumb ass . Erics bat ended up being the original bat with concrete residue.
Still waiting to see someone make a video with bats made of exotic hardwoods. I don’t think Ash and Maple are the best, they’re just the best for production at scale.
How sweet would it be to see bats made of Purple Heart, Cocobolo, Rosewood, etc. There are tons of wood turning channels on RUclips that I’m sure would love the opportunity to make such unique bats and partner with you guys on a video.
I was thinking they could turn the stock bat until the barrel was about fungo thickness, and glue on a hollow purpleheart cover-- but I can't even imagine the amount of work that would go into it.
Make an
Oak and Hickory bat too
Neat idea. Based on the Janka hardness test, which measures the force required to embed a 0.444-inch steel ball into the wood to half its diameter, the typical hardness of a baseball bat is about 5500 to 6500 N. A bat made out of Australian Buloke (Allocasuarina luehmannii) would have a hardness of 22500 N. If you don't understand the units, at least understand that is nearly 3.5 times harder than the hardest standard bat!
A pro player on average orders 120 bats a season. Now multiply that by a couple thousand for the whole nation. Can that exotic forest that only grows every 50 years or longer handle that? Before you say “they’re stronger they’ll last” remember metal is stronger than wood and even those bats break after repeated use.
@@cantprocess You must have missed this part "I don’t think Ash and Maple are the best, they’re just the best for production at scale." The idea was to make one bat of rare wood types for a testing video, not thousands for MLB players.
The old days, Major leaguers used to score/key up their bats to harden the bat. Not really surprised that Eric's bat did better. The concrete harden inside the scored grooves of his bat. It is so much fun watching these guys make content.
A little side note with Cole. The improvement for Cole's performance is that he was able to generate a faster bat swing since he lighten up his bat. He does not have to struggle with the forces of inertia as much if he was still using a stock bat. Bat speed typically improves EV.
Scoring up wood does not make it harder the scoring of the bats in the old days was about causing more friction on the surface of the bat causing crazy spin and also better grip if done on the handle. There are ways to harden wood none involve scoring it almost all are about pulling more moisture out or applying a type of coating to it's surface or a coating that can penetrate the wood. And the only thing about the concrete that might have helped is it being able to pull more moisture out of the bat hardening it up. The concrete in the scored grooves was nonexistent cause it turned to dust. And also his increased EV could easily be because he was just hitting better that day or swinging harder.
Cole basically made a drop 5. the hollowed wood also probably made it more elastic.
Eric’s first swing with the concrete broke away all the unnecessary excess concrete, and left basically what Tosh had on his bat. all thats left is to sand the concrete so its smooth and now thats gonna hit NUKES
I have to agree with Cole on the Fast and Furious series
Sadly.. I agree. Last one where they were just having to keep away from cops because of street racing. Don’t care for all the crazy big stunts. Liked the street racing
@@jameskirby8086 yeah they totally turned away from what made the movies great, now they’re just absurd with no good stories
@@EthanQuiggle sadly because it makes more money. the first 3 were also the lowest grossing iirc. more people are into mindless action and seeing the occasional supercar than there are people who want to watch street racing movies.
Facts besides the one where they stole the safe that was sick
I'll say maybe Fast & Furious 4 was the last okay movie of the franchise. Fast Five is cool because of the nostalgia with everyone coming together from all aspects of the franchise, but anything after is just horrible
Eric’s just hitting with a regular bat after the 1st swing lol
Exactly
The concrete was a training weight
Lots of people talking about Eric's bat, but can we talk about how Cole tried to drill into solid maple with a giant drill bit on a little electric drill without drilling any pilot holes first?
(and that he didn't think foam would expand; "f*ck the instructions" I guess)
These challenge/custom equipment videos are my favorite. They're incredible. I loved this!
Eric made a shrapnel bat. That's terrifying
4:21 the answer is yes
Tosh's swing is so good.
13:28. Eric taking out the bat from the mat is so satisfying.
I'm from Seattle and go to M's games often (even though they are the worst professional team for the last 20+ years) so, I think it's really cool to see you guys batting with T-Mobil park on the hit track!!!
After Eric's first swing and the concrete broke off, all he had was a standard bat but dirty. Tosh had what I thought was best idea, but it failed 🤕. So I declare Cole the winner. Rock on Gents
Totally agree with you!!
Man everytime I watch your guys’ videos. I’m smiling and laughing the ENTIRE time. No homo. U guys are awesome. The RUclips baseball community needs you guys 💪🏽
In Japan, I think it is rare to deal with concrete materials on a personal level, so Eric is great, the very king of concrete.
I look forward to his visit to Japan!
Eric next time you cork a bat, drill into the center of the bat like cole but instead of foam you can put concrete into the center and then put caulk over the top to protect the concrete. 👍
Tosh’s bat looked so cool!
As a home depot employee, I want more people like this in store.
can we all give cole his flowers. ever since the video when he doubled on an lefty young all-star his swing looked better
I love how all the concrete just came off pretty much bringjng it back to its original form. I love momentum and eric sim. Shoutout to kevin "loft small bunt the ball!!"
Shout out Cole trying to drill through the bat with a masonry bit.
Eric is well on his way to having concrete coated lungs, in addition to his full set of concrete coated baseball equipment.
i love that eric and cole are screaming at each other, and tosh is just very very quiet
@Eric, you should have gotten some sand paper for roughing up your bat instead of rubbing it on concrete my boy! Just an idea for future ideas just in case. 👍
eric:
buying sandpaper at home depot while they’re already there:❌
rubbing bat on curb: ✅
8:29 I use factor and IT IS AMAZING, well all I’ve had was the filet mignon, but anyway it melts in your mouth and it’s the best thing ever next to outback
These guys are content machines 🫡
Momentum in 2x speed is crazy😂
Bro this was an amazing video S/O MOMENTUM!!!!! 💯 🔥🔥 Keep the bangers coming much love and respect from Louisiana
It’s funny how tosh always helps everyone
W baseball channel
4:27
Cole: "Wait, Eric it's your favorite aisle".
I fully expected it to be the doors aisle
2:12 a mouse runs out from behind Cole.
That was a ball not a mouse
4:55 Eric’s default face lol
I've thought that working for yall would be great, but didn't know what I could do other than being the Janitor, but now I realize I could show yall how to actually use the tools and materials when yall build stuff. Cus, frankly watching yall use tools and materials from Home Depot hurts me to watch yall fumble through, even though it is also funny.
Thanks for the entertainment
Eric should have done the same thing cole did and “corked” the bat with concrete. Use TINY pieces of rebar to add a little weight and use caulk or something to cap the top off and flatten it out. I think that actually would have done alright.
@_tosher_ Tosh and Momentum's new idea for a video is that you guys should make your own ballpark food and maybe brew your own beer lol. Like helmet nacho's
This whole video was a pause moment 😂
Eric always makes some janky survival game frankenstein type equipment. Also consistent with the krete. Always fun to see the results.
9:54 tell Eric to put some water in the bucket first before he even starts pours the concrete. It'll cut down on the dust
We did this, a colleague used fiberglass moldable soccer shin guards. He had an exit velocity avg over 110mph up from 92mph reg avg (all of us were college players… once upon a time).
I have finally found people who agree that Tokyo Drift is the peak of the Fast & Furious franchise. Five is saved by the ending but that's it for the rest of the series
Love these video cause it shows how smart tosh (and Trevor) is/are against the rest of them
watching Eric pour concrete INDOORs and nearly kill himself breathing it in gets me every time 😐
Eric needs the QuikCrete sponsor
7:09 Cole has never done a GTA heist before lol
Maybe use some epoxy and dig out a few slugs from some 12ga shotty shells. Gunpowder in the mix is optional, the best option in fact I would imagine. Make it happen fellas!!
12:47 that guy probably hits singles got me rolling bro🤣🤣
I genuinely think that Eric's idea would have worked, if he had put the concrete on the inside of the bat. No cap
Tosh could build me a house with how handy he is lol
Make homemade cleats or unis
Easy solution to making it heavier. Drill out middle, add concrete, seal end. Then it doesn’t ruin your hitting surface and won’t break apart when used.
I would love to see you guys invite Mark Rober to do one of these videos with you.
Eric whytf did you not make a big tube to stick the bat in and then fill in the concrete with some screws stickin out or somethin
Just so that you guys know in the future, you drill in with a smaller bit and go bigger and bigger!! Also that's a concrete bit but idk how much it effects it
Great video and the f&f take is valid
eric: “im tired.. and fat”
gets me everytime 😭
Eric you should of drilled out the barrel and then filled the inside of the barrel with concrete.
While their content is great, one of my favorite bits is how seamlessly tosh transitions from video to ad. Ties it all together
My concrete bat looking sexy as ever in 😂😂😂😂 16:44
As a guy that uses the spray foam and caulking for a living you gotta let the foam harden before you caulk over it
Here's what Eric should've done. 1. Drill down the center of the bat. 2. Put the concrete in the bat, not cover it.
Can you play cage ball with every homemade object. Baseballs, bats, helmets.
LoL awesome video.
May I suggest using aluminum and fiberglass in your next DDIY video?
I’ve been binge watching this channel for like 3 days now WHO LETS ERIC GET AWAY WITH ALL THIS CONCRETE
Eric was on to something. If he drilled the bat out like Cole, but filled it with concrete, it probably would’ve hit bombs
Cole next time start with smaller drill bits n work your way up to the big one. That drill doesn’t have enough torque for that big azz drill bit. But if you start smaller n work your way up it’ll be less material the big one has to deal with making it easier and also allowing the drill to work.
“I’m tired, I’m fat, I’m hungry”
Proceeds to randomly sword fight cole with a pipe 🤣🤣🤣
5:28 CrApple product moment.
Look at Eric in the background😂😂😂😂 13:40
Eric’s bat looked like a corn dog on the tarp😂😂😂
9:39 tf did you expect from a ryobi drill☠
fast and furious was pretty good up until paul walker passed away, so i’d say furious 7 was the last relatively good one
Lathe a hold down the centre to lighten the bat fill with foam wait for next day remove excess foam cap with caulk wait for that to set and you good
I love how whenever Tosh swings you can hear his keys wrattle
Eric answered the question “ what if captain caveman played cricket “
Get your Factor Meals in boys!
Honestly eric could've filled the inside of the bat with concrete like old school baseball payers did with corking bats. Maybe that's and idea to do for a vid to see how it preforms
The move is to fill the cavity with closed cell expanding foam.
Is it just me or did tosh’s bat look sick with the blue gradient
You guys couldn't be more right about F&F!
I love how they all have the right tools but just don’t really know how to use them!! Lol! Tosh is the only one that looks like he actually has experience with tools!!
Bring back Kevin we need a bunting video with DIY in it somehow
One thing about wood baseball bats they get broken in, as you hit the wood compacts and you get higher exit velocity, Look up the term bat rolling
That's why Eric's bat worked lol he broke it in by rubbing it on the ground
This is the first and only time they have used the mariners stadium. I know it’s only because of the All-Star game in Seattle this weekend but I’ll take it. I’ve been waiting for this video for go Mariners.
Ola 🌊😂😂
New title: Two guys make new baseball bats while Eric destroys one.
I’ve been saying Tokyo Drift was the peak of Fast and Furious for years Cole.
What about drilling the middle out and adding concrete to the inside.. or other random fillers?
Concrete Form Eric... use a pipe place bat inside and fill with wet concrete
4:38
Just close your eyes and listen for 10 seconds
You guys should do this with medal bats
You guys should make homemade batting gloves or homemade nut cups
7:12 giving you a drill was the problem 😂
i would love to see you make a bat out of Willow wood (Salix Alba Caerulea) that they use to make cricket bats
